The restaurant was closing early because of summer. I hope they post the summer hours somewhere soon. I dined in. Although no one told me to hurry up, I have never felt so much pressure to hurry up and eat. There were only three entrees left including Orange Chicken; Beijing Beef; and Honey Walnut Shrimp and one side, which was Chow Mein. I chose a two entree plate including Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef. I also ordered an egg roll and was given the last Cream Cheese Rangoon for free, which was nice. My meal was okay.
I have visited this place several times since my last review. My most recent visit was on 12/11/2023. I tried to enter the building at about 10:00AM but the doors were locked. I believe the posted hours on the website had indicated the restaurant should have been open by then. Staff members were willing to let me in but indicated that the restaurant didn't open until 10:30AM. I got upset and embarrassed by all of my efforts to get in that I just told them it is fine and left. Low and behold I came back around 10:30AM to eat. The staff were still nice to me despite by little fit. The food was decent. I ordered a (2) entree plate with Chow Mein; Beijing Beef; and Fried Chili Shrimp. The Fried Chili Shrimp was not that great to me. It was more on the salty side and really lacked the complexity I would expect in Chinese food even though I am fully aware this is fast food Chinese food. The Beijing Beef was good and the Chow Mein was as usual with lots of cabbage. The Chow Mein could use a little more flavor such as a little sweetness...
Read moreI came in at about 8pm to grab some food with my buddy and it looked like they were closing the restaurant down most of the food that was in the heating trays looked soggy and old but we managed to find some stuff that looked alright the real issue was the food itself had been burnt so badly there where big chunks of burnt together peices of food that were completely charred in the chow mein and fried rice. Then when we sat down to eat the staff started cleaning the lobby as to get us to leave sooner by spraying cleaning products near our table and stacking chairs on the tables around us and not other sections of the restaurant it was just very disappointing I understand the location is on campus but that's no reason to offer such terrible service avoid this location if you can and just go to a...
Read moreFor ASU students, this Panda likes close to the much busy College Avenue Commons ( CAVC). There is Postinos and Snooze nearby. However, decent Chinese and budgetary with a tummy full meal = Panda Express. This outlet has not been that busy in my experience. So, you could walk in, chill out, and have a happy meal. I personally like the Orange Chicken. The Teriyaki Beef is sweet and the Kung Pao chicken was not so impressive with it's flavor for me. The rolls are really nice, both veg and non-veg. Also, make sure to get a half n half - rice+chowmein as the main dish. Also, keep the bill with you and fill in the survey. You could claim a redemption code for an extra entree on a PLATE in your next visit :) Overall...
