Rowdy Cowboy — Restaurant in The Colony

I visited again today (11/1) to see if the service had gotten better, but unfortunately it has not.

Even though service started out well, after only my second order I was still made to wait over 20 minutes before a server noticed I was trying to flag someone down. A fellow customer sat next to me and his wait was long too, so when a server did finally come down I asked that he be served first. When I was finally approached, the server said that the reason everything was so hectic is because of shift change. However, even during busy shift changes, I have never had to wait longer than 5 or 10 minutes to have an order taken, even if I had to close my order for the new servers coming in for their shift.

I don't know what's going on with management or leadership at this location, but something needs to change so that service doesn't take such an obscenely long amount of time. At the very least, tell the servers to not neglect the east side of the bar since that's where I've had so much trouble getting my order whenever I've been to the Colony Rowdy Cowboy location.

I won't be coming back here until bar management improves or more experienced servers are brought to work the bar.

Two stars because of the lackluster service.

I dont know if it's just because it's opening week, or if the servers have a tendency to get distracted way too easily, but on the three occasions I came here during the opening weekend/week, I had to have my order taken by more than one server, only to wait for an average of 20-40 minutes for it to arrive. And that's if they either did not notice me or outright ignored me when I flagged them down to make my order. I've been to Knockouts, Tight Ends, and other such bars/restaurants, and even the Rowdy Cowboy in Grapevine, and have never had that problem. And those places tend to be just as busy.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I hope this problem gets remedied in the days and...

Rowdy Cowboy is hands down one of the best spots around! great vibes, good food, and even better people. Every time I come in, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and it’s clear the staff actually care about making sure you have a good time.

A huge shoutout to Madelyn, who always goes above and beyond! She’s so sweet, attentive, and just has this natural energy that makes the whole place feel lively. Whether she’s behind the bar or working the floor, she brings that perfect mix of professionalism and personality. Not to mention the most stunning girl I’ve ever seen. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does.

Between the music, the food, the drinks, and the energy that Madelyn brings, Rowdy Cowboy always feels like a little party I love bringing my friends here. I’ll be back for the wings, beer...

I had such a great time here with my friends! The atmosphere was full of energy and good vibes from start to finish. The food was delicious, the drinks were on point, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. You can really tell they care about their customers and want everyone to have a good experience.

If you’re looking for a fun place to hang out, grab some great food and drinks, and enjoy awesome service, Rowdy Cowboy is definitely the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back...
