My current review, 2025: When everything is snapping and we cannot cook at home or we just need to escape the grind, we still drive over to the 54th St restaurant, and we still like it. We like it even more sometimes because when the craziness out there in the Grandscape area is too much (no parking, long lines for dinner places), we can count on 54th Street for food, drinks, relaxation, and to meet up with friends. Favorites include their burgers and margaritas, of course. They have definitely pared down the menu from 5 years ago and it is to their benefit. Easy to spot favorites and you can still find something new. The vibe is family friendly, and parking is never a problem. Service is just fine, with well-trained staff who know how to look after you. Good place!! From 2020, my review: Easy access off Hwy 121/Memorial and walking distance from the group of hospitality units (hotels) along the road here makes the 54TH Street Restaurant a popular choice for locals and travelers alike. Including me. A stormy night found us sitting near the indoor-outdoor firepit and indoor waterfall amidst what could only be called a cargo container's worth of memorabilia from sports, movies, history and random whatnot. You could break your neck just straining to see what all! Plus big screen TVs for sports watching or news gathering makes the bar-grill-funzone atmosphere complete. The heavily laminated plastic multipage menu is colorful. However, it is way too complicated and out of control, even as it means well. There are American favorites and Tex-Mex items and all kinds of things on there. Paring down the menu would be a good idea, imho, but that has nothing to do with the food, which was actually pretty good. This visit we had fried pickle spears. They were soo good with cold ranch dressing! And beef burger sliders. Those were basic and nice comfort food. Also had the apple crisp with ice cream and a beer and frozen margarita. Everything was just fine. Our server, Alexa, was super good in almost every way. She checked back often, provided clean utensils for dessert and we could see she was working hard to take care of several tables. In fact all the staff seemed very hardworking and like they enjoyed their jobs. This made the visit pleasant. Only minus was after we paid the check there was literally NO more contact between us and the server. It was as if we had dropped off the planet. This is common, I get that, especially when you're busy with multiple tables, but still. A "bye" or "see you next time" or something would be a welcome finish to what seemed a hospitable dining and relaxing experience. It is to be noted that other random staff members said hi/bye to us upon arrival and at our departure, so again maybe our gal was just swamped. All in all a good experience. Perfect place to decompress or express, as the case may be. You can laugh with friends, hold hands with a casual date, munch chips and salsa or burgers or an apple crisp, and do so in a nifty, nostalgic atmosphere with dedicated folks taking...

I don’t like doing these, but my last few visits here have been more than disappointing. A few nights ago I placed an online order. I only ordered 2 things an entree and an appetizer. I arrived 5 minutes after because online it states to give an extra 10 minutes during busy hours. I parked in the curbside pickup and called the number to let them know I arrived. A girl answered and told me my order would be right out.. I waited, waited and waited 25 min and no one even came out to the car. I decided to go inside since obviously no one was coming. I went up the the bar and a waiter asked me if I needed help. I calmly told him I been outside for almost 1/2 hr waiting for my order and gave him my name. He said he would go check for me.. disappeared to the kitchen to only come back 5 minutes later to ask me “what was the name again?” …. Told him name again.. waited another 3-5 min and another man came out and identified himself as the manager. I told him my name, my order, etc. he questioned me as if i was trying to pull one over on him” are you sure you placed an order here? I have no orders/ tickets in the kitchen.” .. I had to show him the email confirmation to prove what I ordered at that point he believed me and told me once again “wait a minute while I go check the kitchen.” This is their 3rd time checking the kitchen and I’ve now been waiting about 45 min after my pickup time. So I sat patiently and he came back pretty quickly this time to tell me sorry your order was given to someone else and I would have to wait another 15-20 min.. I said ok and told him I would be waiting in the car. The manager came out about 20 minutes later and brought the food. I didn’t get an apology or anything which I would have expected that at the least. So I check my food bag and low and behold they only gave me 1 of the 2 items I ordered. I was so annoyed at his point I just left. Seriously? The manager was the one that brought my food to the car so he didn’t even care to check it after they already messed up and gave it away and now only get 1/2 my order and I had even left a tip. Extremely disappointed I probably will not be back, at least not...

First time with my girlfriend and it did not disappoint. Few small things though. No host at the front. Apparently was cut 2 hrs before close, little strange that early. Lots of dirty tables for it not being super busy unless we missed a rush before we got there. And last not much communication when seating people. 2 tables were sat next to us and both asked for a booth. Hmm.. usually it's would you prefer a booth or table. Anyways... the food and drink. The drink was amazing for sure. Lots of flavor 😋. The food... fried pickles were delicious and with a small kick to them as well. Cheese bites were average, not as cheesy and gooey as expected but average. And the last was the tequila wrappers!!! Holy smokes to die for!!! Those alone will bring me back. Server was ok. Didn't really stop by after more than close to 10 minutes after we were eating bit still checked on us a few times after. Overall 4/5. Good job

*update.... so came here again after a long day and night at work. Love the cocktails as usual. But the food..... not so good..... the Mac and cheese was cold, and the chicken was under cooked before they brought it out. Once they continued to cook the chicken the pasta became cold. Just remake the whole dish then. My girlfriends dish was not good either. Pasta was too heavy on the sauce and wasn't that good. Chicken and shrimp were good. Just overall now... I hate to give bad reviews and I usually give everyone a chance but strike 2 sadly. Good luck on business and hope this meets you well.... only coming back for drinks if that from now on.

*3rd update ok. Tried for a 3rd time and they redeemed themselves. Taylor was awesome even though she just started. Very attentive and detail oriented for sure. Our food was delicious. Even sold me on some carrot cake which was fire! Looks like happy hour food and drinks are the killr things here for sure. Thanks again Taylor for...

Wish I could write a better review. Something was really off with this place tonight. Have always gone to the frisco location but this one opened up closer. Bad experience from the second we sat down. Took waitress 15 mins to come grab our drink order. We ordered 2 appetizers for the manager to come to us 10 mins later and tell us they are out of calamari. Our waitress then decides to SIT DOWN at the table next to us and flirt with the guy there to realize minutes later we are looking at her because our drinks are empty. She brings us refills to then asked if we were ordering food or not. Ordered a filet medium with grilled veggies and a side salad. My friend orders a protein grain bowl with no cheese or mushrooms as he is highly allergic. Food comes out 20 mins later. Friends food is covered in feta cheese and full of mushrooms. My food comes out with microwaved veggies and a raw flat iron steak. Manager comes to apologize and tells us all the food was cooked wrong with missing ingredients. Not sure what happened with this location tonight, but definitely making the extra 15 min drive to frisco from now on
