Introduction: If there were ever a restaurant that could turn a special occasion into a magical, unforgettable experience, Mastro's has certainly exceeded all expectations. My wife and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary there last night, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the personalized menu to the heartwarming gestures of Jessica and Ceasar, every aspect of our evening at Mastro's was filled with love, deliciousness, and an atmosphere that will forever linger in our hearts. Personalized Touches: From the moment we stepped inside Mastro's, we knew this would be an exceptional evening. The table adorned with a heartfelt note of congratulations and a menu printed with our names and anniversary date set the tone for a truly special celebration. The attention to detail showcased the restaurant's commitment to making each guest feel cherished and appreciated. Seafood Extravaganza: Jessica's expert recommendations led us on a culinary journey like no other. We began with a lavish seafood tower, an opulent display of succulent lobster, freshly shucked oysters, and plump jumbo shrimp. The flavors were nothing short of divine, and the quality of the ingredients was evident with each delectable bite. Entrées to Enchant: For our main courses, my taste buds danced with delight as I savored the sea bass crusted with tender scallops and topped with an extraordinary sauce. The dish was a symphony of flavors, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. My wife's tenderloin steak was a masterpiece, prepared to her exact specifications, ensuring a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The sides, particularly the expertly seasoned broccoli, cheesy lobster potatoes, and cooked spinach, elevated the entire dining experience to new heights. Dessert to Delight: Just when we thought our evening couldn't get any more enchanting, dessert arrived, and it was a masterpiece in itself. The plate was adorned with another heartfelt congratulations, encircling Mastro's signature warm butter cake. The rich, buttery goodness paired with their homemade whipped cream was a divine treat, and we couldn't resist savoring every last morsel. Atmosphere and Ambiance: Mastro's ambiance was simply mesmerizing, enhanced by live music that gently resonated throughout the restaurant. The beautifully decorated architecture created an intimate and elegant setting, elevating the entire dining experience. It was the perfect backdrop for our celebration, making our anniversary truly magical. Conclusion: Our experience at Mastro's surpassed all expectations, thanks to the impeccable service of Jessica and Ceasar, the sumptuous and artfully crafted dishes, and the loving attention to detail that made our anniversary celebration so memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend Mastro's to anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience filled with love, great food, and a truly enchanting atmosphere. Thank you, Mastro's, for making our 17th wedding anniversary a night we will cherish forever.

Mastros is a cacophony of dark tables, odd lights, chatter, music, noise, crowded spaces, exceptional service, and great food; I'm still decompressing from the experience. You enter a dark space on the backside of a massive bar; if it's daytime outside, it's like stepping into a movie theater. The bar splits the restaurant in half with high-top seating, and I'm not sure I've ever seen a better-stocked bar; it was shocking. There are also live TVs showing sports on each side of the bar, something I'm not used to seeing at a fine restaurant. On Fridays and Saturdays (at least), a live musician is oddly lit with daylight bulbs in an otherwise dark restaurant with warm lighting. The restaurant is packed with people, giving you a shot of disjointed energy as you traverse them. Tables come in various sizes; all the seating is exceptionally comfortable, and the cloth covered tables are set with well-weighted silverware, enhancing the overall dining experience. The two tops are oddly long in size, so, combined with the general noise, it can be challenging to hold a conversation. The entire thing is quite the spectacle. The service staff was fantastic. This kind of restaurant makes you sit up straight and want to be a better person. Still, it's accepting of a casual nature. You can still try your best etiquette here and be in good company. They are eager to help with anything you need. I think I can sum up the staff by their calls of "GUEST!" they relay as you head to the bathroom, ensuring everyone makes way for you, the most important person there, the customer. Some of the "pageantry" may go a bit far... The food was delicious, but you are paying for that; you can expect over $100 per person. The bread basket ($5) was surprisingly fun, and there were several types of bread; everyone could get something they liked. My friend said that none of the dishes are terribly "complex," but they use the best ingredients, which is why they're so good; I have no reason to think otherwise. The steak, clam chowder, and the butter cake were all winners for me. The plates with hot food were hot throughout the meal, including keeping my steak piping hot. The cocktails are shaken at the table when served, and the shaker is left for you; my margarita was served in a martini glass and refilled 2.5 times from the shaker. The drinks were excellent but deceptively strong; I ordered two but only needed one. Compared to other upscale restaurants like Flemmings, Perry's, and Kirbys, Maestros offers a unique dining experience. While it may not be as relaxing as these establishments, it certainly has its own charm. The food is excellent, the staff is flawless, and the energy of the place is invigorating. I look forward to returning, perhaps to a brighter part of the restaurant with a four-top table.

Went to Mastro's Ocean club on 10/19/22 and ordered the following, I will put a * next to each to qualify each as a star: Small Cream Corn (2*), the cream corn was made with feeder corn not sweet corn, it was under cooked and not very tasty. Small Lobster Mashed Potato (5*), this is a specialty of there's, it is great, it is made with real lobster, they show you the lobster meat on top of the potatoes then they mix it together for you, there is more lobster in those mashed potatoes than any dish that Red Lobster has. Steak Bacon (3*), this was a thick cut slice of bacon, a bit fatty and not really tasty, plus it was a bit dry. Seasonal Butter Cake Banana's Foster style (4*), the butter cake was fluffy, warm and tasty, they had caramelized bananas on it with ice cream topped, very enjoyable dish, just seemed a bit to hard on spots. Chilean Sea Bass (5*) this was a very tasty dish, the Sea Bass was covered in a breading and baked to a crisp on the outside, which kept it moist and soft on the inside. Ribeye Chop "Chef Cut" (3*) the meat was correctly cooked but it really wasn't tasty, the 32 oz "Chef Cut" style is a good cut to get vs the 22 oz regular cut, but the rub on it wasn't very tasty, I ordered it with there signature Wagyu Butter, which I do not recommend getting, it really isn't good on meat. Overall I give the restaurant a 4* because they had great service, all friendly and pleasant to work with, but due to the fact that the meat really isn't flavorful, I wouldn't recommend them as a steak house. I was tempted to get the Wagyu beaf but I am glad I decided against it since the Ribeye really was not up to par. The bread basket is well worth getting, we ordered a second to go, it comes with 2 pretzels, 2 sour dough bread pieces, 1 sour dough knot, and 2 crostini. This is a novel restaurant to visit, price is on par with higher scale restaurants, unfortunately the quality is not up to par with higher scale on the price range. We tipped the waiter $50 for the service he provided and the effort he put into making sure we were satisfied and informed.

Mastro's has a very nice interior, although mostly the colors palates are dark, the place is nicely and professionally done, creating a nice ambience starting from the entrance door, which I thought was beautifully designed, passing by the bar, to the dining room, and then the patio, which was still nice but I wasn't fond of the chairs at all, since the patio is open to the dining room, the patio chairs seemed very out of place compared to the other dining room chairs. For me, the service was outstanding, and I feel terrible that I forgot the name of our waiter, but he was phenomenal, very well spoken, and described all item menus perfectly, plenty of recommendations, even though he tried to sneak in few upselling technics while we were ordering, he still wasn't pushy. He kept checking on us, maybe a bit too much, but it was done smoothly that it didn't really annoy us, very attentive, and catered to all our needs. 10/10 The food is excellent, creative appetizers, all items are very well plated, everything tasted delicious, the only few comments I have would be the freshness of the shrimp cocktail, and the quality of the new York strip, while it was very good quality, there wasn't any wow factor of tasting an amazing steak, but it was still tasty! Crab cakes tasted delicious, it looked overcooked from the outside which explains the reason why it was a bit dry, a squeeze of lemon and the remoulade did the trick though! Tuna tartar is highly recommended 9/10 The 2 sushi rolls we ordered were very good too, but definitely the winner for me is the tartar. We had an off menu side, fried rice, that everyone enjoyed, and the sesame oil complimented the dish very well. In my opinion, the lobster mac and cheese is overrated, while the mac and cheese tasted really good, the lobster was expected to be better, taste and portion wise, it's was just for the hype of ordering a lobster mac n cheese, for me it wasn't justifiable! Very good drinks, served in nice glasses, martinis, and cocktails are well executed! I would visit another time to chill in the lounge area, sip on some nice cocktails while enjoying appetizers (you already know which one), and listen to the lady playing the piano! And lastly, the dessert.......... the warm butter cake is the signature dessert for a reason! I dont need to say more, a piece of advise though, don't skip the strawberries on top of the delicious ice cream. The music was good, not too loud or annoying while having a conversation, however at times when the song changes the sound decreased, and I found myself speaking louder than I would like when the music in the background disappeared, a well thought continuous playlist would be a great addition. A well thought and delightful concept, although very similar to Ruth Chris, Eddie Vs, and such, I still felt that they have it all figured out, with no loose ends to anything. The whole experience was well executed, and we didn't feel like anything...
