My friends and I came to Bounce and got a table for a bachelorette trip we were on. Music was good, but I would not recommend it solely because of the staffing. First off, we got a table (which was a little over 4K) and we were placed smack in the middle of dance floor that was not roped off. We also had someone in our party who was pregnant and she was treated extremely poorly since we had to ask the manager multiple times for chairs since we were provided with one singular stool. We wanted to also bring the bride a sign that says “Happy Bachelorette” in which the manager, who was exhibiting signs of drug use, said it was an extra thousand dollars with an additional purchase of 2 bottles of champagne. He was continuously partying with one particular table behind us, pouring champagne in the guests mouths, while also being shirtless by downing champagne on himself walking around the day club absolutely soaked drawing attention to multiple individuals. We ordered 2 food towers with lobster rolls, chicken tenders, and fries. The lobster rolls were so stale that I probably could’ve chipped a tooth, and we found a chicken tender with a bone in it, almost causing one of the girls we were with to choke & almost be rushed to the hospital. On top of this, we saw other tables receiving more attention, by getting handed hats, party poppers, etc. When we asked if we can have some to celebrate the bride the response we got in return was “You didn’t spend 50k on a table (even though we spent over 4K),” and walked away. The waitress was also so incompetent that she did not give back the photo ID & credit card used to pay for the table (even though we paid in all cash), so we had to drive 2.5 hours from out of state to Montauk to pick up the belongings because they refused to mail it for “liability purposes.” All in all, I think there’s much better bars in Montauk to go to than to this entitled...
Read moreVisited Bounce Beach Montauk for one of their summer daylife events. There are two ticket levels for entrance: one is GA admission for the DJ, and the second is VIP deck admission. While the GA admission to the concert does state that it does not grant access to the VIP deck, it’s usually fair to assume that if you’re buying tickets to a concert that you’ll be able to see the artist, even from a distance. Photos online don’t really give you a good lay of the land, so I’m leaving this review because it’s important to note that if you have GA admission tickets, you will NOT be able to see or hear the artist at all. The VIP deck is the ONLY event space, and it is not an outdoor deck, it’s a closed off second floor. The artist is unviewable/hearable from outside.
When we arrived, I reached out to upgrade our tickets or see what our options were, since we only went for the artist, not just to hang out at a bar. They tried to upsell us $800 to see the artist. Anyone else that we asked for assistance was either rude/aggressive or avoided eye contact entirely. If you ask to speak to someone who could help, they all said there was no one who could help.
I understand that to an extent, there needs to be order, crowd control, etc. in a stressful environment for the employees, but there needs to be SOME level of customer service, even at a "club." There is no reason why I shouldn't be able to have someone address my concerns.
Additional notes: there are only 2 single stall bathrooms for the entire venue, so prepare to wait on a very long line. Can’t speak to the food as we didn’t eat there. Drinks were average and probably what...
Read moreThis review is based on my groups experience for saturday brunch. We got seated and our waitress Allison came over and was very cold towards us. Not once did she have a smile on her face and it just seemed like she wanted nothing to do with us. When ordering, I asked what could be done gluten free because I have Celiac Disease. She informed us there is an icon next to all the gluten free options. When I asked her if the french fries were in the same fryer as the breaded food she said they're not gluten free. I kept repeating the question about the fryer because I can eat it as long as the food is not made with gluten in it and my friend asked her if she could ask someone and her response was that the kitchen was really backed up and it would take a long time. It is offensive when people do not take allergies seriously. We also tried to order espresso martinis from her and the bartender came out to tell us they don't even have them and she just came back and asked us how we wanted to pay the bill. When we asked if we could split the check because it is toast tab and not too hard to split and she said it could only be split two ways. This woman wouldn't do anything that was inconvenient to her. Other than our unhappy waitress, the food...
