Becca's Cafe, Bistro & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Rib Mountain

My kid likes this place so I arranged an interview for her w a potential employer/mentor. Thankfully I arrived early for a 2:15 MTG. There was more staff behind the counter than I've ever seen there and yet the place was a disaster. When I asked for a rag to wipe down the tables upstairs the girl behind the counter said, " there is one up there". Now I've worked in hospitality for 30+ yrs and I know I don't want to put my hand in the cold bleach bucket that's been there hopefully since this morning. I also asked for a Hokey, they looked at me like I had 3heads, Vacuum? Ahhh my bad they use fancy powered Sharks now a days:) one young lady did come up and wiped down the tables that I had moved the flowers.... (Week b4 Christmas?) And vacuumed the rediculous mess someone had made by tearing up napkins? then she left... The rest of the empty tables and floor dirty. So I dried the tables replaced the chairs and flowers for her. Normally I would have spent 20-30$ on lunch, I shouldn't have to clean a place. Yes I'm sure it was a busy day, the staff was mostly young or busy but the manager on duty is responsible for every aspect of the establishment. delegating a staff member to routinely clean the 20? Seating areas is a no brainer?

Becca’s Cafe & Bistro is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the customer service stands out. Driving througj Wausau at lunch, looking for outdoor dining and we found a great restaurant! All patio tables were 6 feet apart. It is counter service inside to order (disappointed staff didn't wear masks). Menu includes sandwiches, wraps, salads & flatbread pizzas all around $9.50. Side of kettle chips or chips & salsa included. An upgrade for $2.49 for a house salad which was a GREAT salad! Enjoyed a pannini & grilled wrap-all had fresh and not-standard ingredients/combinations.. Everything hit the spot! Service was faster than expected for fresh preperation.
