Big Town Hero — Restaurant in Tualatin

The manager, Brian, made us go home hungry today. We even used the last 20 dollars we had to stop here on our way home, and we are from eugene and came to Portland to have a nice trip for the day, every big town hero in eugene toasts there sandwiches, apparently this location doesnt but no where at ALL is it advertised or said that they dont toast there sandwiches, so being so used to it in our town we didnt think we needed to specify? We ordered ours how we liked them and when they arrived they were ice cold we asked if we could have them toasted and he informed us they dont toasters there, even mentioned that they have hot paninis so then we asked if we could either switch them to a new sandwich that was hot or just get our money back for the sandwiches we hadn't touched he told us no and laughed at us when we said we worked at a franchise store as well, now starts our hour and a half trip home with our appreciates...

I VERY SELDOM go out to eat because prices are too high for the quality of service and food you get for your money. I go into to order a sandwich. I kindly asked for mustard and this Big Town Hero in Tualatin, now under new management, wanted to CHARGE ME .50 CENTS for a couple squirts of MUSTARD!!!! I walked out! This IS NOT the way you keep your customers!!!! THE ONLY sandwich shop that I visit too!!. You guys blew it!!!...go ahead, keep charging extra for such items as a simple ask of "can I please get some mustard on my sandwich?" YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS. I will make sure I spread the word that the new management at Big Town Hero will nickel and dime you...including asking for a bit of mustard. SCREW YOU GUYS!! I'll go to a different Big Town Hero....and will tell alllll my friends and peeps I know...

This is a Big Town Hero just like most of the others except because each one is individually owned the quality can vary between locations. It shouldn't be that way but unfortunately it's just the way it is. This location seems to be ran buy a mom who brings her kids with her and my order was taken by a very cute little girl. That alone is worth Stars because she was actually able to do it and it's a nice change from a frumpy teenager or adult.

The sandwiches themselves were just fine and what I expect from a Big Town Hero. The place is easy enough to find and we got our sandwiches quickly. Overall A Great Big Town...
