Jersey Mike's is the kind of place that you either love or not. I personally like it for the most part except I have to limit the additions to my sandwich because of how they approach that. What I mean is that if you ask for lettuce they put way too much lettuce and if you ask for the sandwich Mike's way they will drench it in oil and vinegar to the point where the entire sandwich is wet to the touch and personally I like my hands to stay clean while I am eating but I can see where people like my wife prefer to have their sandwiches have more pizazz.
As for everything else they are your standard sandwich shop. You wait in line and then pick your bread and meat and then you go to the condiments and additions area to finish off your sandwich. They use a deli meat slicer for all the meats and everything seems pretty fresh.
I guess the only real negative I have for this place is that it's so standard that although you are safe to go here with just about anybody there isn't anything that I would say is special about it. It's just a very safe place. I kind of wish they had something unique that would set them apart from just being a better version of subway.
There is also a distinct lack of certain condiments and additions that other places have but they have enough to make most any sandwich that is a regular sandwich that most people eat.
The service and everything like that is perfectly fine they are not the fastest place but they are not the slowest either and the people are usually genuinely friendly so I have no complaints in that area. The sandwiches are decently cheap and affordable too.
All and all I am not against going here ever but I am hardly going to be running to the hills Singing its Praises either it's just one of those kind of places that works when you need it to but it's not somewhere you go if you have a craving for something exciting...
Read moreI frequent Jersey Mike's in Vancouver, and I have been in Tualatin a hand full of times. Usually, it is really decent, but this location is really bad right now. Granted it was lunch time, and it does get busy, but every table was filthy, and the tops of the napkin dispensers look like they haven't been wiped off in months, it was seriously disgusting. There was debris all over the floor, and I watched 6 people, not including myself, slip badly on the mat at the front door, that an employee kept mopping under and putting back, like they were trying to make someone slip and fall. The lady in front of me told me she did the splits on the way in and was literally in pain, another lady went down completely. I suggested to the employee that getting rid of the mat completely would be better than keeping the floor under it wet, and she just looked at me like I was stupid and walked away. Someone is going to fall and get hurt, and it is going to be an easy negligence law suit. Mopping under the mat, and putting it back repeatedly after people keep slipping on it is just dumb. I'm a fan of Jersey Mike's, but this location is doing it wrong. The enthusiastic kid behind the counter making sandwiches was friendly and good spirited, works fast and seems to care, but even he has got to notice the tops on every napkin dispenser, they...
Read moreI am a GrubHub driver and received an order to deliver 110 items from jersey mikes. Normally this would be considered catering but somehow it went through as a regular order and they were only given 10 minutes notice from my pickup time. I don’t know how, but this team managed to make 40 sandwiches as well as package 70 other items in under 30 minutes while also fulfilling in store and additional mobile orders! I’ve honestly never been so impressed with the staff in any restaurant I’ve either delivered from or personally patronized. Not only did they work so quickly, but I didn’t hear a single comment of frustration or stress from anyone, and they even helped me load my car! To everyone working on Friday 9/29/2023 around 5-5:30 pm - you are all amazing!!! I hope you receive recognition for how you handled that because I was in awe!
Thank...
