Right when you walk in, it feels different. It is almost like you have been there before even if you never have. There is art all over the walls and it almost feels like you are in a museum until you reach the register all the way at the end of the restaurant. All of the staff was super friendly and PATIENT, which is so sweet when you are new to the area/menu. I got the Greek pasta with chicken. Everything tasted so damn good and was so fresh. It was under $20 and for what you get, seems like it is too good to be true. However, it is. The truth is this place is really special and makes great food. It has an accepting and welcoming vibe. Pretty sure that is why the food tastes so good. I am going back again today. You should eat here too, you will not regret it.

Cafe 54 is a little gem that offers great food in a lovely space filled with student art! I'm very impressed that they partner with NAMI to help disabled clients obtain job training and experience. I would like them to offer brewed coffee rather than Keurig pods, but that is a minor complaint! The Korean beef dish was yummy!

They are a part of the SMI employment scam. They charge AHCCCS for training services and then kick people out. My mom was a Health inspector and we weren’t on good terms, but how would you feel about the produce for your lunches coming from the food bank? What is the freshness and quality control there? Make half rotten groceries great again?

Cafe 54 is giving leftovers to the nearby Our Place Clubhouse and their pricing policy is inadequate. How come a slop like lunch at Our Olace Clubhouse is 1.50 and a taco meal at Cafe 54 is 8.50 ?

How come Our Place Clubhouse members cant get better food at Cafe 54 for 1.50? This is a horrendously appalling fact of discrimination of our disabled community and SMI patients.

The place is dark and has an “off” feeling to it. SMI employees are being used as slave labor and then discriminated against. I would boycott this place completely. It’s just bad business...

Immediately I could see patrons that knew the owner/server/chef by name were quick to say hello and drop a quick convo or comment. The ones sitting at tables. Seemed happy and their were a few lunch parties happening!! The vibe was great and the cashier/server greeted me was very friendly and after learning it was my 1st visit gave me free cookies. The even took it one step further my first choice on their menu was the curry and there was no rice so they gave me the curry sauce to take home for free!!

I feel like my next visit here he might remember me or even...
