I came here on Christmas Eve to get a pedicure. I picked the basic pedicure which I believe was $55 dollars. The type of polish I picked was the new magnetic gel polish and the one lady that speaks English the receptionist let me know that depending on what style of magnetic polish I chose ie. âcat eyeâ or I forget what the other option was called, would be an additional $25 or more. I insured her that that was fine. Iâll pay the extra. When the lady that was doing my pedicure finished with the POLISH, I told her hey you didnât use the magnetic she than waved the receptionist over to come translate. I told the receptionist hey, I got the magnetic gel POLISH, the gel polish that youâre supposed to use the magnetic , she didnât use the magnetic to make the sparkly shimmery glitter come to the surface of the POLISH. The reception went back-and-forth with me that this is the way itâs supposed to look. I asked to see the book that had the color that I chose. She refused to bring it back to me And kept telling me that thatâs the way that the POLISH is supposed to look. I have a cosmetology degree which means I am very well-versed on all of the new POLISH trends that are out meaning I can go to a professional store and purchase this polish so I know how itâs supposed to be applied. And you guys wanna go back-and-forth with me and charge me the extra $35 to argue with me to not use the magnetic on my pedicure. I let it go and decided to try again after my nails where done bc I was going to get the same color on my nails. I sit down to do my full set nails and when I got to the lady that was doing my nails and told her that I wanted the gel x nails not acrylic, they didnât even have the correct sizes to fit my nails. All of the nails that they had were too small and the nail tech made such a big deal about it. Throwing her head back and sighing all loud making a scene. Then tried to convince me to put gel x on all my other nails and acrylic on my thumbs. Gel x nails are CLEAR and the acrylic ones they wanted to put on my thumbs were white. The receptionist comes over and says we can file the thumbs down, very thin to make them look clear like the other nails, anybody that does nails know that if you file the underlying nail tip too much, your nail is just going to break very easily. After having the nail tech act the way that she did and then have the receptionist come over who obviously isnât trained and doing nails try to convince me of doing a mix of the gel, nails and acrylic nails. I was so embarrassed I just said it Iâll just pay for the pedicure and leave. I say all this to say this happened on Christmas Eve while I was about to go out of town for vacation, I pre-booked these appointments in advance, I was charged the full price for my basic pedicure 55+ the additional 25 to 35 and ended up walking out paying over $85 for a pedicure that the staff refused to properly apply after me bringing it to there attention ie.âno cat eyeâ effect to my polish. No nails after scheduling ahead on Christmas Eve, so there was not me going somewhere else last minute. I WANT A FULL REFUND for the treatable service, the embarrassment and shame you and your staff caused and for the lack of basic knowledge your techs should have when it comes to the types of polish your...
Read moreI wouldnât recommend it AT ALL!! Ladies if you wanna to get treated or a standard pedicure and paid what you wanted, this is not a place for you.
I came today for a pedicure and added 16$ for color gel. ( nail polish is not included in the package). For the Pedi section, casually rubble my feet and wash them. Very rush scrubbing my foot. Later, they think my toenails were too short to shape, made me add another 8$ per toe and claim I have to do both toes. The owner and the employee both giving me pressure to hard sell me. I feels extremely uncomfortable. Later on they put on the color gel, but you can clearly see my nails are uneven and and they shape my nails horrible. The color were uneven. The lady tell me that she can fix it so she grind out my color gel and the acrylic powder as well ( which is they charge me 8$ per one toe) to âsmooth it?â I ask them if they could make my nails thicker coz thatâs what I wish to do. But the lady said â that would be too much work she would not wanted to do it)
I felt extremely disappointed and disrespectful. I end up paid 81$ for total and I can say it is NOT WORTH IT. Ladies if you wanna to get treated and paid what you wanted, this is not a place for you.
UPDATED Since I canât leave another review on my old account. Here is the attachment for my old review and update.
The owner contact me the day I leave the review on Google. I explained the situation to her about my worst experience in their salon. But the lady asked me to delete the review from Google because I would make their employee in trouble. I don't want to delete the review because this is based on my true experience. I feel harassed by their call. They offer me to come to their salon and fix it again for me. I refused because when the first did my nails it was not done well and I asked them to fix the surface to at least make it look even, and they fixed it once(still looks very not ideal.) Therefore, I told them, No, I am not coming back because there is no point for doing that, the only way to fix this situation is to refund me and I offer them to keep the tips. But they instantly refused to refund and still asked me to delete the review. I canât really agree with them calling me and asking me to do all that when they could not even respect me at the first place. Forced me to do power for my nails. Have my nails done in a terrible way. Could not even fix it to how it supposed to be. Calling me...
Read moreToday I visited HT Nail Bar to get a full set dip powder with nail extensions. I called around noon for an appointment at 1pm. When I arrived they were ready for me and began right away. Mia was my nail tech. I picked out my color and sat down. I was shown a menu and asked if I wanted something to drink, and if I wanted a manicure as well. Winter has been harsh on my cuticles so I agreed. Imagine my shock when I was told it would be an additional $25 for this service! So Mia begins working on my nails and I notice as she's applying the dip powder my nails are really uneven in shape. I ask her if this is normal and she says do not worry, it will be fixed when she files. Ok cool, I let her continue on. We get to the end and she says to me "your nails are uneven that's why they're bumpy". I start to inspect my nails further but I'm rushed to pay with the manager in my face asking if I like them. I pay and go out to my car only to see how awful they look. They have a huge dip in the middle of each nail. I normally will just live with being unhappy with my nails but these are so bad I had to go back in. I go in and the manager looks and says they can fix them. She calls out the nail tech and they speak, then she tells me its because of how my nails are shaped and she doesn't recommend dip powder for me. She says to fix them they must use acrylic. I tell her that I do not want acrylic applied. I paid for a dip powder application. At this point I'm upset and feel as if I'm begin blamed. I asked for them to take the nails off and refund me. She refused, and starts getting very rude. I feel like I have no choice but to accept their fix and sit while the tech files down the nails and applies acrylic over top the dip. As we approach the tech completing the application the manager comes over once again, looks at my nails and says I need a polish to cover the nails. The application of acrylic over the dip left the nails unevenly colored. Now I have smooth nails, with uneven coloring. I decline stating that once again I came for dip powder nails and I do not want polish. She's rude and pushes me to accept. I asked again for her to please just take them off and refund me. Once again this request was ignored and she walked away. Mia finished the top coat and I left as quickly as I could.
My main complaints are: Nail tech doesn't have the skill to do dip powder correctly Refused to refund even though the agreed upon service wasn't fulfilled Uneven nail length and shape. Literally each nail is a different length and shape Being upsold a $25 manicure to...
