I’m very torn on this review because it could have very easily been a 5 star review but the service really ruined the experience for us. The main waitress/bartender that greeted us was great and even let us in our igloo a half hour early which we greatly appreciated!
However, everything after that was kinda meh. They had the lights inside the igloos that indicated you were ready to order but they get seemed to go unnoticed. After about 10 minutes I walked inside to make my order. For the 2.5 hours after that we never had a waiter/waitress come to our igloo until they came to let us know we only had 15 minutes left. At one point I went back up to the window to order another round and the blonde waitress said “oh, you can just press the light if you want to order.” To which I just said “yeah, but I don’t think you can see it.” She didn’t say anything. We had to go back up to order every time, and when they brought the drinks to our igloo, they barely acknowledged our presence. Every waitress and waiter seemed to have this vibe that they couldn’t be bothered with us. It as pretty off putting. At two different points, I engaged and asked if the glasses were available for purchase, to which they said yes they are, for $5 each.
Once our time was up, we got up to leave and go cash out about 5 minutes early. However, we were immediately met by a waitress as soon as we exited our igloo with the machine in her hand that she put right in our face with the card I gave her and the total already on the machine. We wanted to purchase some glasses and maybe hang out for one more drink but we felt so unwelcome at this point that we just cashed out and left.
I’m really disappointed because everything else about this place was great. The igloos were awesome. The vibe was very cool and I really wanted to love it but I feel apprehensive to go back. Like, we paid $50 to reserve the igloo, but I definitely don’t feel like we were afforded the service that should have accompanied that fee. We felt like a burden to the staff. I even wanted to ask about the igloos and where they got them but every time I tried to engage them, they were waking away before I had the chance.
Your experience may vary and maybe we caught them on an off day, but it was pretty bittersweet for us. Maybe we’ll give them another try later on to...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Welltown Brewing in Tulsa, OK, and I can’t help but share my exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The staff at Welltown Brewing were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, offering insightful recommendations that made my visit even more enjoyable.
The beer selection was outstanding, with a diverse range of styles that cater to every palate. Each brew I tried was more impressive than the last, showcasing the skill and creativity of their brewers. The standout for me was their signature IPA, which struck the perfect balance between hoppy bitterness and refreshing citrus notes. A close second was their Blueberry Sour.
Beyond the beer, the brewery itself is a fantastic space. The modern, industrial design combined with cozy seating areas creates an inviting environment where you can easily spend hours chatting and playing board games with friends.
Another highlight was the Igloo’s on their upstairs outdoor patio. Our igloo was very cozy and the service was top notch.
If you’re in Tulsa and looking for a place that offers amazing beers, a great atmosphere, and friendly faces, Welltown Brewing is the place to go. It’s more than just a brewery; it’s a cornerstone of the community where you’re guaranteed to have a good time. Cheers to Welltown Brewing for making my visit unforgettable. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreA fair rating for a fair experience. They charge quite a hefty fee for the igloos and the prices for the food are even heftier. I can support that if the experience is top notch. Mine was neither great nor terrible. You know what you are getting when you book an igloo. Btw, I didn't book it, I was a guest. A guest who doesn't drink. And therein lies the problem. I understand that this is a brewery and they want you to drink beer. However, I am NEVER going to be drinking your beer ( or other alcoholic options). Therefore, how about providing me more options than Coke, Sprite & water. Nothing in the restaurant business makes more $$$ than soda. Charge me $3 or $4 a glass and give me some options. Now I know that you may have space or other limitations, but that one seems pretty simple and makes moola year round. Expand your menu. Again, the food is pricey here, but I am not opposed to a reasonable profit margin to encourage downtown growth, reasonable pay, helping businesses stay afloat, etc. I will pay for an enjoyable, unique experience. At least provide us...
