Service is very friendly, very fast. However there's no one to help you order. If you have questions about a drink, an ingredient, or even just how to order, there's no one there. You walk up to a screen and that's it. Goodluck. My husband is rather adventurous and loves to try new foods and drinks and he's ended up with some pretty unappetizing things. His latest drink choice was the new mochi tea. He figure it'd be the flavor of mochi but rather the drink contained glutenous rice flour which if you're unfamiliar with is rather chewy and the prices were large. It was like trying to suck gum through a straw. Pair with the famous "cheese foam" available here, the texture was rather...gross. Needless to say he didn't drink it. The misunderstanding of the drink could've been avoided if there was customer service to answer questions especially for first timers. I recently ordered the grapefruit yakult which was an absolutely wonderful flavor combination. Definitely recommend. However it comes with slices of actual fruit in it and it had an abundance of seeds. Towards the end of the drink I had to unfortunately throw it away as there was more seeds than drink. Overall, I'd say it's worth going to if you want something different. There's stuff here that I've definitely never seen anywhere else. If you're careful and really think about the drink choice there's some yummy stuff but there's no one to answers questions...
Read moreI've visited Moge Tee in Tyson's Corner more than ten times, hoping each visit would be better than the last, but unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been below par. My most recent visit was particularly disheartening and prompts me to share my experience.
On this visit, I ordered two cold drinks. While one was prepared relatively quickly, the other took an unusually long time. Seeing my first drink ready, I politely asked if I could begin enjoying it while waiting for the second. To my surprise, the staff responded with an unwarranted attitude and refused my request, even though the drink was already paid for. This not only felt unreasonable but also contradicted basic customer service norms.
The wait for the second drink was so prolonged that by the time it was ready, my first drink had completely melted. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price point of these beverages – around $10 each. At this price range, one would reasonably expect a certain standard of service and product quality, both of which were lacking.
Based on these repeated experiences of poor service, I cannot recommend Moge Tee at Tyson's Corner. The disregard for customer satisfaction and the inability to deliver quality service consistently has led me to this conclusion. There are many other establishments in the area where your time and money will be...
Read moreNot quite worth the hype and long lines, steep price, and ginormous portion size. After patiently waiting for 20 minutes with 1/2 a dozen people receiving their drinks who ordered after me, I'm glad that I spoke up. My order was somehow forgotten or lost and finally got my bubble tea.
It's nice that the bubble tea isn't too sweet. The crumbled Oreo topping added a hint of sweetness and balanced out the bitter after taste of the matcha. Go with the Oreo!
Why aren't there any hot bubble teas available? Warm matcha tea would be perfect during the frigid winter. The sizes are way too big. Wish there would be a smaller 1/2 junior serving size.
Nice tea, but with so many options and other bubble tea stalls at the mall, I'll grab a snack or quench my thirst...
