Extremely Disappointing Service and Unprofessional Staff
I visited this location on the 22nd of December, and to say that my experience was deeply disappointing would be an understatement. Despite patiently waiting in a lengthy queue for over 20 minutes, I was met with an unprofessional and discourteous staff member. I tried to overlook this behavior, assuming everyone might be treated the same, but my experience only worsened.
When I was finally attended to, I informed the staff member that I was there for a cleaning service for my bracelet. To my surprise, she informed me that this service was not available until after the holidays. This information was not conveyed to me when I was inquired about my purpose during my waiting time in the queue.
Adding to my frustration, an individual who I assumed was the store manager, intervened and disputed my claim that I was previously advised to return to the store for the cleaning service. She demanded to see my receipt from the 16th of December and then proceeded to declare my bracelet unfixable.
Feeling defeated, I decided to return the new charms I had recently purchased since they were of no use to me without the bracelet. Rather than providing a solution, she suggested that I should purchase a new bracelet. She then condescendingly offered their cleaning kit for $20, implying that it was all I could "afford".
When I declined and insisted on the return, she became increasingly hostile, demanding the return of a free bracelet I had received previously, which I did not have with me at the time. Without providing any further assistance or solution, she abruptly ended our interaction and moved on to the next customer, leaving me standing there, unassisted.
What’s more disheartening was witnessing a discernible difference in the way other customers, who were not people of color, were treated.
I had traveled over an hour and twenty minutes to this store, only to be met with such an appalling level of service. I am left with a bracelet and charms worth over $990 that are now deemed worthless. Read moreI’d like to share the terrible experience that I had today, and after reading the other reviews, I can definitely tell that the associates and store manager are the real issue here. I went to the store with my mom, and one of the associates started to help her, I was looking at the rings and I asked to a different associate for help, she said “You guys are together, so she’ll help you”. First of all, where’s the customer service? I’ve been working in retail for the past two years and a half, if a customer asks me for help, I’m definitely going to help them! After we purchased some items, we asked them if we could get our jewelry cleaned. The same associate that gave me that response was in charge of cleaning them. When she came back, we noticed that our bracelets had some stains and we of course asked them what happened. One of the associates started saying that the charms were dirty and that’s why it got stained. I’ve got my jewelry cleaned at Pandora before and I’ve never seen it like that. I asked them if they took the charms off to clean them separately and their response was “we don’t do that here, this store gets so busy”. We were the only customers there besides this other woman. Even the store manager was telling me that the charms were dirty and that it wasn’t their fault, she was so rude in the beginning and I had to insist and keep saying that it wasn’t like that before and I’ve never seen it like that after getting it “cleaned”. She offer me to cleaned it again, but this time she cleaned the charms and bracelet separately. All of a sudden, the bracelets were stainless. She was first very nice and later in when people started walking in she started to be rude!! I tried some bracelets and i didnt like how it looked. So i decided to get engraved dog tag for my bracelet. But I did know what earrings I wanted from the beginning. While she was doing the engraving she made mistakes and re did it like 4 times, when she was ready to engrave my husband said we know what earrings we would like to get. Her response was lets do this first then we can go to earrings section. We were like fine. Then we dont know what happened they got little busy and probably her rude manager said speed up a little bit, she comes to me and says i spent to much time with you guys we need to move on if you know what you like lets check you out! I was like excuse me she is like there is bunch of people waiting to get help. I felt so bad like i was wasting her freaking time. Then her manager or whoever she was(very rude tone of voice) she starts asking whats going on and i told her this is what i just heard and she acts like i misheard them. My husband got mad so bad and i got emotional they made me cry!! They were so impolite.
