I love &pizza from way back, but on my first visit to the Tysons Corner Center location, I got served the wrong pizza! Perhaps I wasn’t paying close enough attention to the process, but there was quite the lunchtime crowd at the time.
The pie that I got was either for the guy in front of me or the guy behind me. Either way it was gross. I didn’t think twice when I sat down with it because it had similar toppings that I had asked for. But as I ate further into it, I discovered a bunch of toppings that I did not ask for.
I informed the guy on the line at the end where the pies come out that I have someone else’s food, as a courtesy in case the intended customer came back or called upset. I declined the offer to have another pizza made as I was more than halfway through it, which I regret.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Pay VERY close attention to your order from start to finish especially when there’s a crowd inside. I miss my North Bethesda...
Read moreWas really impressed that they offered free pie to federal workers during the shut down, so i went to check them out and give them my support. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The prices are high for what you get. Pizza is basically an appetizer size, or single person if your a light eater. They are stingy with the meat and chess toppings but pile high the leafy stuff so it looks like it's generous.
The pizza is about the size of two standard medium pizza slices, and there were 4 peperoni slices, 6 little blobs of mozzarella cheese about the size of small marbles, and light sprinkling of sausage, probably a tablespoon or so. That was it. After it came out of the oven, another employee put basil leaves piled high on top and lightly sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
It tasted good, but I left feeling like I paid for a whole pizza and got bamboozled with less ingredients than a single slice....
Read morePlace has gone downhill in terms of their ordering system. Not completely the employee’s fault but overall corporate and now their service just isn’t as good either because of how complicated their system got. It’s never that busy anymore too so it feels dead used to feel like a hip spot. Ingredients are not as fresh, or premium. They took away a lot of the great items and also started cutting corners, giving less cheese and charging extra for more cheese. They charg for sauce if you want it on the side. And they keep making the menu more complicated for no reason rather than just choosing whatever topping you want for a flat price. Like how am I supposed to want all these random toppings for all the weird names you give them, eg dirty bird. Like how am I supposed to know what that is without reading thru all the unnecessary ingredients I may not like. Who thought to complicate...
