DONâT BUY DYSON!!!!!!!
Purchased a Dyson humidifier not more than a yr ago. It got stuck in self cleaning mode and never came out. Called customer service and they did diagnostic. Determined it needed to be replaced with new device.
I was advised that I had to return the one I had before they would ship the new one. They sent me a return label and I packaged the device up and shipped it back on April 14, 2024. Itâs now June and I still do not have the device and it is paid for in full?! I have received no communication whatsoever from Dyson regarding the new device. I called at the beginning of May and was told that the device had been out of stock but was now back in stock. The rep advised that I would be getting an email regarding shipment of the new replacement in three days. I never received that email.
I then went back to the Dyson store in Tysons, Virginia, where I purchased the machine. They offered zero customer service. The representative advised that all he could do was call the same 800 number I had already been calling and escalate the matter. I had already escalated myself. So the trip was a complete waste of time and money. When you call the customer service and ask for a US representative, they advise you that there is no US customer service for Dyson.
I have been hung up on and completely denied any type of normal or necessary. Customer service for a matter such as this.. THIS IS FRAUDULENT AF!!!!!! How are these companies doing business in America yet they refuse to employ Americans to provide necessary customer service for US customers! I suffer from severe allergies so I had to go out and spend an additional $300 for a new humidifier while Dyson refuses to send a new replacement; refuses to refund my $700 or provide any type of true or professional customer service here. For the obnoxious price of their products this isnât just unacceptable. ITâS A SCAM!!!!! The device was not very old and should not have broken down in this manner.

   Read moreBought a Dyson pro dryer & loved it until it died not into 3 yrs of owning it. Iâm a hairdresser and I NEED my dryer. So, I tried to get it serviced at a Dyson service center but was told they couldnât do anything. I then called the company where I was again essentially told they could do nothing for me and I would just have to buy a new one. Sent an email and AGAIN was pretty much told the same thing. It was becoming quite frustrating & I was about to give up. That is, until I decided last minute to try talking to a Dyson employee at Tysons mall while doing some Christmas shopping. And thank goodness I did! I walked in & was greeted by two nice gentlemen & explained my situation when I was offered (by who I assume was the manager) a brand new dryer! I was elated! And I genuinely could not express the utter joy and sense of relief to not have to worry about my dryer any more. I was incredibly close to abandoning Dyson all together, but thanks to one of the gentlemen in particular I will remain a loyal client and pray that should anything happen again (even out of warranty) that the company will be better organized and willing to better assist its customers. Very poor customer service!!! Have called the store and left 3 messages, called district manager and left a message for âHenryâ no one got back to me. We bought Airwrap combo with 5 heads. 2 were out of stock (curlers) which were the main reason we bought this system, rep at the store said you buy it today and pay for it all in full and we order the curlers to come to store or deliver to your house, we asked to be delivered to store so we pick them, after 10 days we received an email saying itâs back order and they have cancelled the order. Since then I am trying to call and talk to a rep, we paid full for a product we canât even use, honestly itâs feels like they scammed us, convinced us to buy the product at the store which wasnât complete âwe ship the missing product to you within 12 daysâ. Before putting this review I left messages for the store and district manager letting them know if they donât get back to me by Sunday, Iâll go ahead and put the review, today is Tuesday and no one called.
