The people you hire reflect the experience and food . The person taking the order looked lost and confused when I asked for a simple Mexican bowl. When she brought out my take out order, it was without any utensils or bag. Just 3 boxes and then she stood there looking at me lost and even more confused when I asked for a bag. I had to ask for the guac dressing that is supposed to come with it and sour cream and she seemed to get flustered when I asked for this very basic and simple things. The sour cream was in a small container and the amount was less than a tea spoon. When I asked for some extra sour cream she told me it would be $1 for each “tea spoon”. The one thing this women actually knew.
Next up, the food. This topped it for me. Bland and no taste like they ran out of salt and didn’t know what seasoning means.
Over all I had high hopes but this place was a HUGE disappointment. Please avoid.
If you want your business to succeed. Don’t hire people and not train on basics. And don’t hire just to have a body standing there. Don’t call yourself Mexican street food. Don’t disgrace the taste of authentic Mexican street food.
How do you plan to not run out of business when chipotle could literally run circles around you in...
Read moreI visited Rabbit Taco three times and tried it twice before writing this review.
To clarify, the first time I visited, they had closed earlier than their listed hours, so if you want to try it, visit during the middle of their business hours. The only way to describe Rabbit Taco is bland. I saw some posts about the restaurant and thought I’d check it out since I was already at the mall and because they have halal options. The food itself is very bland, and the portions are smaller than expected. The meat is fresh; however, you can’t enjoy it because of how bland it is. I have tried the chicken and asada quesadillas, the asada burrito, the asada tacos, and the asada torta, and they all had the same bland problem. To add to it, they all cost over $10 each, and the sour cream they used was watered down. Additionally, I tried the horchata, which was good. Overall, I think I’m done trying this place until I hear that they changed their seasoning or something. Wishing them luck...
