Overall I'd say it depends alot on the employee(s) you encounter on a particular shift. Overall however they do their best at the drive through to get orders done properly, quickly, and politely.
On the rare occasion the butter packet will burst inside the bag if it's not handled properly resulting in a oily mess, so always place it inside the plastic bag they give you as a precaution- while driving just the weight of other things are enough to "squeeze" the tiny butter container which honestly I think mcdonald's should packet them more like their pancake syrup and EVERY other condiment container where it's a tough plastic and think wrapper. It's a design flaw.
However, it seems there's too many people in their cars that've never learned about common manners and respect. Everyone is in a rush, at times I am myself, but you being a jerk to an employee doesn't make things go faster. From my observations it's usually the vehicles that have the least of a right to even demand respect. Like a Chrysler PT Cruiser, a BMW 3 series (yeah the cheapest ones you can think of), and the occasionally weird looking ugly car. Ironic because you'd assume it's the cars that are associated with wealthy people to be 'demanding' but my dashcam will always prove that theory wrong.
I had to include this last part because the review shouldn't JUST be limited to the establishment but the people/customers that can make your next experience poorly because they're making things for the rest of us harder. And if that's just me as a customer let your imagination wonder what's going through the workers /employees minds when every order is a ticking clock but some douche bag wants to pick an argument he clearly has no ground...
Read moreOrder number 407. The worst experience ever on 12/10/18 at 12:45 am, I ordered two triple cheese burgers, buttermilk four piece chicken tenders, large fries accompanied with a small drink literally paid over $15 for this order. The crew I overheard them saying in spanish "hey just give them whats there", I did not think this was referring to my order but when I arrived home I looked in the bag and inside it was an entire different order (one cheeseburger a 4 piece chicken nuggets and a small order of fries)
I normally trust fast food places when it comes to an order which I got the bag and left without searching but just warning everyone please double check your bag ESPECIALLY AT THIS MCDONALDS to verify if everything is there. Its at the point where you literally have to open your burger and see if it's exactly what was requested. DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH AND EVEN INSIDE CHECK YOUR BAG!
This was an order placed with the night manager that was there. I waited for my number called and I am completely dissapointed. I know many will ask hey why dont you go back, I live in North Bergen near Fairview there isn't no point in driving all the way back just there for an "exchange" I waste more in gas so I suck up this donation to them and just eat what I was given.

Read moreI’m never again spending my hard earn money on a overpriced franchise who clearly has forgotten about customer service and why they exist in the first place. I got on the drive thru and order 4 fish filets sandwiches since McDonald has a sign that says 2 for $6. When I check my order I only got 2 sandwiches. I told the lady on the receiving end if she can charge me for 2 additional sandwiches because the person who took my order did a mistake. Check this out her manager said that I had to go around once more through the drive thru because she didn’t have a register🤦🏻♂️. What in the world happen to customer service. You clearly had a register 10 feet away from you. How is it my fault that the person that McDonald’s hired to put on the drive-thru can’t understand what I’m saying. Not for nothing but I can speak Spanish as well and I’m not trying to use this as an excuse to degrade my own people. It’s just frustrating that McDonald’s has and incapable Manager who couldn’t solve such a simple request. One more last thing back in the day you can feed a family of 4 for under $30. Now it takes about $50 on average really McDonald’s. Im done I’m taking my wallet somewhere else where I can support the small local community...
