I genuinely have never had so much trouble ordering online at any restaurant the way I do at this specific location. I try to order on doordash, and it’s only worked once, other times it’ll say “temporarily closed.” It’s a Thursday afternoon, not even 3:30pm yet, why does it say closed when you’re open? So I try to order off their website multiple times, and every single time except once, the Eastgate location WILL NOT SHOW UP. It’s as if it doesn’t exist, or is “temporarily closed.” I don’t know if it’s running into issues because it’s still reading as the Zoup that was here before them, I’m not sure. But I called and asked why I couldn’t place an order, and was basically told “well idk how to help you, we are taking orders online.” Plus, the one time I did manage to make the online order work, I went to get my food and it was just a clustered mess. The employees had no idea what the hell was going on, there’s no designated spot for online order pick up, so I have to wait in the actual ordering line (which takes forever because they spend 20 minutes trying to figure out who ordered what), and one of the employees started yelling at the others with customers in front of them. Every customer that was around me was very clearly uncomfortable. Not to mention the prices! Two burrito bowl meals with queso curly fries is over $50 online!!! What?! I can get 2 of the exact same thing for about half the price at Chipotle!! All in all, with as difficult as it is to even put in an order, let alone find it (if you manage to get it working), it’s 100% not worth the struggle or the price. The food is decent, I’ll give ya that. But not worth $50, the stress of putting in an order, and finding my order. Will definitely not...
Read moreI've been here several times and always loved the food, and people were friendly. However, my most recent visit was everything but. This last time I went, the lady behind the counter was rude and argumentative. She seemed like she needed to take a course in customer service skills or something. We went to try the new Birria menu items. The tacos were good. But the salsa.. we started eating the salsa and chips, and everyone at my table was confused as to why the salsa tasted like it had sprite in it. Not only did it taste like Sprite, but it also tasted carbonated. We realized that we could see the salsa was bubbling! Somehow, the salsa was actually carbonated. The workers took the salsa when I mentioned it to them and gave me new from a different batch they said had been made that morning. And quickly took the old batch (that was half gone) and threw it out. A quick google search revealed that salsa becomes carbonated when it's expiring from yeast, and bacteria is exposed to it, and it starts to ferment. So.. not only did my family eat expired salsa, but so did everyone else they serve that busy afternoon before I...
Read moreMy son tried this for lunch and said it was great so we decided to try it before grocery shopping. We were disappointed we ordered bowls since we try and limit our carb intake. We unfortunately didn't like what we ordered I had chicken, pico, light brown rice, pinto beans, queso lettuce and sour cream my husband ordered the steak and shrimp and the same extra toppings as I did, his shrimp was very strange like chewing a gummy bear and both our orders were so sweet we never imagined that would be all we could taste. I mean is that a normal flavor for this restaurant because it was a huge surprise and let down. The employees seem very friendly but talk very quiet so you can't really hear them over the background noise going on. Our meal seemed sort of pricey for 2 bowls and 1 fountain drink. Almost $32. Wish I could of given a better review it was just so disappointing because we try to be open minded when...
