Pizza + cannolo Not my favorite, not terrible, just not my favorite. Got my usual - Mushroom & black olive. Dough had a thin crispy layer but manged to keep a chewy texture in the areas under toppings. The pizza bones (edges) were thin, hollow, and crunchy / hard, think "dense saltine cracker", I couldnt eat these. The cheese was unusual to me, it probably would have been better with less cheese, which is unlike me to say. Remember the string cheese you ate as a kid... imagine the texture if you bit into a stick of that... same texture, just warm. The pizza wasnt cold, it also wasnt melty or awesomely stretchy... almost wondered if it was low fat cheese, which lacks some melting qualities. The toppings were present, but not as plentiful as other pizzas (I travel the world eating / reviewing pizza). The toppings themselves were fine. The cannolo was good. Thankful they dont pour Hershey's syrup on it. The shell was crisp, not chewy or dense, but not fragile, which is all nice. The choc chip filling was ok. There is a bit of a uniform grit to the cheese... which did not stop me from finishing it, ha!, in fact its familiar to a certain level of American versions of cannoli. Just not my favorite. Oh, yeah... note: their "cannoli" = 1. "Cannoli" is plural, cannolo is singular... one order at this restaurant is 1 piece.

There are reasons why I am giving this pizza restaurant an okay review and they are as followed: 1. They couldn’t give me the chicken soup because it hadn’t been de-thawed from the freezer; thereby, indicating that their soups are not freshly made OR that they reuse restaurant made soup the next day. 2. The marinara dip is not thick but watered down. 3. I entered the establishment right when no other customers were in the restaurant and was not greeted at all. 4. There is nothing special about the pizza sauce. It tastes generic and store bought. But in this case, bought from a distributor instead of in-house made. 5. The dough was textured and baked well. No additional seasoned butter was added so it tasted just like regular pizza bread. 6. New York City’s $1-$2 quick pizzas are a greater value but contains better flavor and taste. 7. Pepsi was not fizzy and watered down when it came to my table. 8. Good news is that they serve plant-based sausage. Bad news is that they don’t know how to prepare & cook it properly with precision. 9. Poorly constructed salad and poorly tasting Caesar dressing. I didn’t try everything on the menu but nor will I.

After reading the reviews, I decided to call in my orders for pickup. Orders placed at 5:45 and the call taker said it will be ready approximately 20 minutes. I decided to go to Harris Teeters to pickup jalapeños for the pizza. Arrived at Bella (6:15) only to to be told it will be few minutes. Ten minutes later my orders was ready. On the way back to hotel, the aroma was phenomenal. Wife and I placed the foods by the balcony overlooking the beach for romantic dinner. The wings were tasty with plenty of hot and teriyaki sauce to coat the wings. Pizza looks great, however, once I bit into it, it was doughy. I contemplate to take it back but wifey said let’s not ruin this moment so we both finished the wings, not so much for the pizza.

Today was our 3rd time ordering delivery from this restaurant. The first two times we ordered, the food was fantastic! Everything arrived piping hot, everything was just how we ordered it, and it even arrived slightly sooner than the projected delivery time! Today we are celebrating my child's birthday and decided on Beach Bella Pizza for our small celebration. Boy were we incredibly disappointed! Our celebration is fairly small, so we didn't order much: we ordered one of their specials which came with a jumbo 20" one topping pizza (pepperoni) plus it came with an order of garlic knots and a 2-liter drink, we also got 2 orders of chicken fingers and 1 order of mozzarella sticks. I placed our order ahead of time this morning and had a scheduled delivery time of 1:15pm. The order arrived over 30 minutes late, all of the food was lukewarm at best, they did not bring the 2-liter, and they gave us the wrong dipping sauces for the chicken fingers. When I called the restaurant to explain these things, I was told by the woman on the phone that she didn't know what to tell me and that the food was hot when it left the restaurant. She informed me that the driver was coming back with our 2-liter right away. We live not 5 minutes down the road from this restaurant. It has been 45 minutes now since the driver supposedly left to bring us our drink, and it has still not arrived. This has been a very unpleasant experience for us and the lack of care that the woman I spoke with has left our family feeling very unsatisfied and disappointed. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again. I'm all about supporting local restaurants as opposed to these big chain pizza places, so I'll be on the lookout for another local pizza joint to support.

Update: They never did bring...

If I could give zero stars I would. My experience with this restaurant was awful. I was on vacation with my sister and the hotel manager suggested we order from this establishment. We placed the order through Grubhub at 7:19 PM for a delivery by 8:00-8:10 PM, that time came and went. I called the establishment back at 8:30 PM when we hadn’t received our order. I had to call several times before I got through to a person, when I finally got through they said that they were very busy and that we would receive our order shortly. I called back around 9:00 PM when we still hadn’t received our order and they said that the order was on its way. 9:30 came and went and I called back once again they said that the order was on its way after talking to two different people. 10:00 PM came and I called back again and they said the food was delivered to a male at the front desk when I clearly said delivery was to our room. I called the front desk and they told me that no one came in with a delivery. I called them back and told them what I was told and they said that they would give me a 20% discount on my next order. I was not planning on order again from them and I asked for a refund. They said that they would contact Grubhub for a refund which they never did. The next day I contacted Grubhub to get the transaction reversed. I went shopping the next day and noticed the restaurant was literally 2 streets down from where we were staying. I was very disappointed in the run around that I got from the staff and that they did not contact Grubhub as promised. On top of that when I went back through my call log I had tried to call them 38 times with only speaking to a person 3 times. Very...

I’m not normally one to leave a long-winded or picky reviews anywhere, but I was compelled to do so for this location.

We noticed the restaurant while visiting the Saturday street market and thought it looked promising. And based on the 4.0 rating we decided to try it out. That was a mistake that ended up ruining the rest of our evening.

Initially, we liked the atmosphere and the gentleman was quick to seat us and take our drink orders. We did place an appetizer order, but it took him nearly 20 minutes to come back for our meal orders. My wife ordered the Eggplant Parm but he put in and brought out Chicken Parm. I ordered the spaghetti with garlic and oil with a side of meatballs (the meatballs were of the generic frozen variety), the spaghetti had no garlic in it and was mushy. The waiter never came back to refill drinks or ask how things were, I had to get up and walk over to request a refill. The bathrooms were unkept and not supplied with either soap or paper towels. Another small group came in, ordered an appetizer and ended up paying and leaving without finishing.

On our drive home, my wife and I both began to feel unwell and our Saturday and the following morning were not the best of times as we were both sick. Please do not let ratings and reviews trick you into coming here. I am not exaggerating when I say that the “Italian food” at Busch Gardens Williamsburg is far superior in taste...
