If I can give this place a negative rating I would. This place is horrible and it does not represent what it's shown in the pictures. The rooms are falling apart. Drawers on the dresser were broken, phone didn't work, window was broken and replaced with plastic and tape, door chewed on and it smelled of tobacco. Smoke detector had been illegally removed. The room was dirty. Used soap was found on the floor in the bathroom and towels were so old and thin. House keeping was completely nonexistent. People hanged around the hotel smoking and doing other illegal things. The fountain was dirty and not operational. Parking was so small and next to a private house. The people who stayed there were so noisy and had no consideration for their neighbors. The staff were rude and liars. TJ offered me a refund for one night for my "inconveniences" and when expedia called to confirm he refused the refund. When I called minutes later to speak to him, he hanged up on me. They are so unprofessional and they shouldn't be in business. Don't book here. I never review but this place really is not great and it's a waste of money and unsanitary.

We tried to stay here last weekend, but couldn’t bring ourselves to even sit down on anything the room was so filthy. Not only were the sheets stained, there were thick crusts of something paste-like on them, so they obviously hadn’t even been washed. The towels were gray, crunchy, and wadded up in a bunch instead of folded. There was a streak of something thick and brown on the wall- either poop or chocolate, but we did not attempt to discover which. When we went back to the front desk to say we were not ok with the room, the family that operates the hotel hid in the back. We could hear them talking, so I know they heard me calling. And they ignored the phone while Expedia called them too. We gave up and left within 15 minutes of checking in. Didn’t touch anything in the room, but they refused to refund the money. First time we’ve ever found a hotel unacceptable. Do not book here!!!

Terrible experience. I don't recommend it at all. The air conditioning doesn't work, the stove is destroyed, the dishwasher is broken and the place is full of insects. The location is the only redeemable thing, but the hotel is in a deplorable state due to the total lack of maintenance of its owners. I talked to the receptionist about the air conditioning problem and the only thing I received was a "sorry, there are no rooms available." Not a solution, not a compensation. Unfortunately, I have to stay until tomorrow because there are no nearby hotels available, but this has been one of the worst stays I've had. I ask Expedia to review this place and select more carefully the hotels it offers on its platform. They should not allow accommodations like this to continue deceiving travelers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Our son requested that we spend a few days at the beach for his 10th birthday. We booked two separate reservations as we had family members traveling with us. We arrived at VA beach around 11 AM and we had verified with this “resort” over the phone that we would not be able to check in until 4 PM. This wasn’t a big deal as we wanted to spend some time at the beach prior to checking in and we noticed that the facility had parking available. Upon arriving my brother arriving first, went to the front desk to see about a parking pass, where he was met buy a very unprofessional and rude front desk staff (Indian manager who later turns out to be the owner) who advised him that check-in was not until 4PM and that if he did not like it he could cancel his reservation, all this after simply asking for a parking pass not to check-in. My husband and I arriving a few minutes after this incident were denied a parking pass and paid for public parking until our room became available. When check-in time arrives, we go to check-in and again are met with nothing but sharp and rude remarks. We receive our room keys and even after requesting a non-smoking room when we initially booked, we received a room that smelled as if packs after packs of cigarettes were smoked prior to our arrival, there were sunflower seed shells within the pullout bed, mold, and the room was lit by a nightstand lamp and standalone lamp as the room switch did not function, dirty curtains, and peeling wallpaper. My brothers room had sheets that were stained and had not been changed prior to his check-in, stained chairs with cigarette burns, ripped curtains and a questionable stain (we thought it was blood). When reported to the front desk and inquired about a refund the front desk attendant told me that she would be willing to go in to clean and spray the room with glade. Regarding the refund, she stated that I booked through Expedia that they would be able to call in and they could work out a refund I just wouldn’t be able to receive it within 24 hours. I get on the phone with Expedia and one I have an agent on the line I head back to the front office to connect Brian from Expedia with the manager as suggested. Upon doing so, the front desk attendant refused to speak to Brian and refused to promptly provide the office phone number so Brian could call her directly as this is now the only way, she would speak to them. I was advised that this call should take at most 30 min, I then decided to get my children some food until I heard back. After being advised by the front desk attendant (claimed to be the manager but later stated she was the owner) that she would speak to Expedia about a refund she denied it upon them reaching out to her. Due to the poor treatment and poor upkeep of this facility a two-night stay turned into a day trip as my relatives, and I decided to head back home. We drove 3 hours to get to the beach and left with a disappointed 10 yr old, no stay, and hard-earned money practically given away to a business owner who lies, treats people with disrespect, and clearly has no consideration that for some of us a trip like this takes time to save up for to make it happen. I will be reaching out to the health department as this hotel clearly is not sanitary nor have proper staff to clean between...

This place wasn't too bad. The room I was in, had its own kitchen area, stove, microwave, sink, refrigerator. Had a queen bed in another room, inside that room. It was quiet spacious. Living room was in same area as kitchen. Had a big kitchen table and decent size tv with cable. The room I was in was 204. I'm not sure, but I personally believe the room may be Haunted. But if it is, it's not bad haunting, more like a trickster type. Was eating one day with the girl next to me and the stove light was on. Neither her nor me even touched the stove the whole stay, but the stove miraculously turned itself on somehow. I tried to figure out how, by bumping into it and all but you just can't simply turn it on. You have to press the dials in and turn it either way to activate the stove, so it's not an accidental feat that can be easily done. After I took a number 2 early in the morning I went to go shower. I got done showering and when I was drying off I heard something spin, happen to look over and the toilet paper dispenser had spun enough for toilet paper to hang from its end. I know I didn't touch the dispenser or accidentally hit it to cause it to spin and when I finished using the paper before shower I never left hanging toilet paper. Just a couple odd things that happened that I could not explain. But I feel there may be some type of haunting in that room, but I could be wrong, but regardless I don't believe in that stuff as it is so would stay in that room next time if I had to. But overall the place was nice, besides the early morning noise from planes overhead that would wake you up or people closing their room doors. All the room doors close with a loud noise so imagine ppl that frequently open and close doors for no reason. Because it will make a lot of noise and you can hear these other doors even...

SCAM Do not book here! Extreme disrespect to both active and veteran servicemen.

This has been one of my worst experiences and never have I observed both active and veteran servicemen so poorly treated. The hotel manager Tina is one of the most disrespectful and conning business women I have ever had the misfortune of meeting.

We booked a room for 3 nights for the forth of July and followed all rules of the hotel.

We had read the many negative reviews of this hotel and should have been forewarned of the nature of management for this establishment, however in poor judgement we decided to book.

from the onset Tina made us feel extremely uncomfortable and excessively intrusive. We had an uneasy feeling that this stay would not be smooth from her comments and inappropriate obtrusive surveillance.

Secondly the demeaning and cruel nature that management (Tina) spoke to her staff ( many from diverse backgrounds) was truly uncomfortable to observe.

I have never experienced such blatant disrespect with Tina demanding our eviction enforcing 'private property' with police called the moment we requested a refund. We felt scammed and victims of a con artist wanting to turn over and double sell our room, for the busy July 4th.

Tina labelled our guests both active and veteran servicemen as alcoholics and of poor character.

We understand that this hotel will respond with a cookie cutter response of 'management reserves the right' however we truly appeal that you consider other establishments in Virginia beach whom respect our active service men and the sacrifices they have made for...
