We went in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. It was me and my partner. We were greeted at the front podium with four people, huddled up all talking amongst themselves. There was someone that seemed like a manager who had his back to the podium blocking it and when he saw us, he didn’t greet us. He just walked away. We requested to send out sign because it was pretty warm that day. we seated just passed the door that leads to the patio on the left. There were a row of tiny tables. We were sat at the very first table directly behind where I was sitting was a station and it didn’t fit well, so it took up some of the space for my seat to get pulled out and from that point forward, I heard every time somebody put dishes in the station or was chatting with coworkers. It wasn’t even 1 foot away from me behind me. We both ordered the steak. I ordered a side salad, which was a disappointing salad because all it was was huge chunks of lettuce. Nothing else just lettuce. How’s that a salad? It wasn’t even chopped. It was oversized chunks of lettuce. I chose the ranch dressing which was also pretty watered down and bland. However, the artichoke spinach dip was amazing. The steaks were also absolutely delicious as we were sitting outside. We were visited by many flies and a few bees it became a little bit cumbersome, my partner and I were having a serious private conversation when all of a sudden another staff member walked up to us and started commenting on my tattoos her voice was pretty loud, and it threw both of us off because we didn’t know what she was talking about. At first we both kind of stared at her for a minute and she walked away. Our bill was over $200 and for drinks we just got iced tea. I felt it was a little pricey for lunch and for the outdoor atmosphere also the planters to our left were leaking lots of water so the floor was soaking wet when I go there again? Not for lunch at that price that’s more of a...
Read moreThe GM is a man with white short hair. Slim. This goof has zero control over his "staff" and is the root cause of alot of the negative issues and chaos.
I came in and stood in line looking to buy a gift card. An asian girl, with purple hair and glasses ignored me. I was dressed well, polite, etc. I wanted to give OJs $. I wanted to give the restaurant money in exchange for a gift card.
Not only did she not speak to me, she told me to get in line. I was in line and the only one there. After I complained, I was told the GM would come and help me. He walked by me and was too busy handing out free drinks to every "girl" under 30. That night alone, he gave out at least 15 free drinks...
I eventually got into the bar area to eat. I had a RSVp in the main area, but, pur friend, the purple hair glasses asian girl, "lost" my reservation that was 2 weeks old and documented in an email and text.
Welcome to OJs
Then, my meal, never came. I was then asked to move from the bar to a seat next to the fire place, to make room for a supposed disabled elderly party. I obliged.
Who showed up? 3 25 year old "girls" who got free drinks from....the GM himself
Welcome to OJs.
So...I got up, asked to close my tab...a beer. I got the reciept and found I was charged for someone else's order.
Whose? Another group of ladies. I had to explain that my name was not Claire. I am a tall bearded man.
It took a lot of arguing
I finally got my bill fixed.
The GM apparently...covered the other group of girls' drinks
I will be back..this time with Meta's recordable glasses and will post my video experience,...
Read moreOutrageous behavior by Management and the Bouncer who threatened to handcuff my partner's friend after he went to the bathroom and tried to reenter the bar where he had been eating and drinking for over 2 hours.
So, my partner and his friend went to the new WC location last evening, opening day. It was loud, busy and crazy, just as you would expect and hope for on opening day.
They sat at the bar for over 2 hours, eating and drinking. The bartender was great, the food was great.
Our friend went to use the bathroom which is in the hallway outside the bar between the dining room and bar area. When he came back, he was confronted by a RUDE, arrogant bouncer who told him the bar was closed due to too many people. Our friend shared he had already been in the bar for 2 hours eating and was just returning from the bathroom, when the bouncer told him, he would put him in cuffs if he tried to enter the bar. It escalated from there due to the bouncer not listening, and the manager was called.
Seems the manager had told the bouncer NOT to let anyone else into the bar due to the size of the crowd, which is understandable, but not if you had just come from there to go to the bathroom.
The Manager did apologize and offered to buy them a drink. Really? A drink after being threatened to be handcuffed.
A customer should never had to endure that type of bullying, aggressive treatment.
Hopefully the bouncer has been fired for his aggressive and...
