Manny & Olga's Pizza — Restaurant in Washington

Overall, my experience here was "meeeh." While the delivery guy was nice, the other reviews here are pretty accurate with what they say about this branch of Manny and Olga's. Last night when I was coming home from a long day at work and I was pretty hungry but did not want to cook at 12 AM in the morning. The calzones, gyros, and fries were tasty and seasoned well, but they were a bit on the colder (and wetter) side. In total, it took about 2 hours to process my order even though they would say it would only take 45 minutes. If they said it was going to take 2 hours, I would have been perfectly fine with that and I would not have to call them back.

I understand how the customer service is crude (as it is near Georgetown campus and late night sales tend to be with college drunks acting like fools), so as a suggestion to the manager, look up the Weiner's Circle in Chicago and mirror their sassy service. I think the employees would find it hilarious/fun and they can get a lot more in profit with sassy tips. With everyone so stressed out in da capital, a venting place would be both funny and great for customer satisfaction and loyalty. With that same regard, churn out good hot food and your business should...

If you aren't starving in the literal sense: Find somewhere else to go. If it isn't 3:00AM and there are other things open: GO THERE.

I am a very fair, if not generous, person when it comes to reviewing a business because I always try to give the benefit of the doubt. We ordered via UberEats and the order was taking 40+ minutes longer than it was originally supposed to. We decided to call to see if the order was still being processed. No answer. We called the restaurant over 10 times and only once did we get an answer which was, "hold please," and then never picked back up. That being said, this is literally the only place open Sunday night at 2:30 am, so I assumed they were slammed and ignored the poor customer service. When we did get to eat, it was not good food. I give 1 star because it wasn't the worst thing I have ever eaten...If you're looking for something after 2AM, then sure, order away but expect to be disappointed. Other than that, there are WAY too many wonderful pizza places in D.C. for you to spend your money here....

This place has amazing food, tastes great and you can see their ingredients are quality ones. That would had given this place a 4 or 5 star rating. Nevertheless, the employee that answered the phone on 08/17/2016 lunch time has the customer service skills of a pebble. He insulted me on the phone upon requesting an estimate of when i was going to get my already 25 minutes late order with sarcasm and taunting me to do something about it. "It will get there when it gets there" was his answer before hanging up on me. This gives them a rating of -4 starts, thus this rating of 1.
