Shake Shack — Restaurant in Washington

This location is really awful and not representative of shake shack at all. We went for a game and I was pleasantly surprised to see a shake shack as a food option - we were super excited! The line looks very long but it does move fairly quickly. The lady who helped us at the register was nice but didn't seem to know what she was doing. We had to repeat our order 3 times because what she was repeating back to us wasn't accurate. It was a simple order of 2 double shacks and cheese fries! We then were given the wrong food - there was a shroom burger. So she and another lady went back and forth opening the burgers to see which ones they were. No offense, I'd rather not eat a burger someone's rummaged through. The incorrect order went back to the line - I sincerely hope someone else didn't get that food later on. We were finally given our correct order and went on our way. The burgers and fries were cold like they had been sitting out. The cheese for the fries came in a tiny sauce cup and was hard and dry rather than the usually smooth texture in the larger black container. Extremely disappointed considering the price point here is double what it usually is out...

So I stood in line for a milkshake only to be told the shake machine wasn’t working (kind of ironic, considering it’s called “Shake Shack”). That’s not their fault, so I’m not complaining about that. However, the lady that was working the register was really nasty to me when I asked for one (before finding out that it wasn’t working), she screamed at me that they had no shakes that day and that she announced that three times, as if everyone in the big, loud stadium was supposed to have heard her and gotten the message. I even apologized to her for not getting the message, and she again yelled at me to get out of line for the next customer. I wasn’t planning to go back to Nationals Park for a while anyways (given that I’m not even a Nats fan), but I’ll definitely remember to avoid going to Shake Shack unless the workers change...

Disappointing Experience at Shake Shack

I recently visited Shake Shack and was extremely disappointed with my experience. I waited for a staggering 4 hours for my order, only to leave without being served. This long wait was not only frustrating but also unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber.

I understand that busy times can lead to delays, but 4 hours is beyond reasonable. Communication from the staff was lacking, and it felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. I hope that Shake Shack can improve their service and ensure that this doesn’t happen to other customers...
