Baker's Ribs — Restaurant in Weatherford

Let's start on a positive note. The food is average/acceptable quality. The young man who took my order at least tried to counter the contemptuous attitude of the other staff by trying to be friendly. His was the ONLY perceivable effort at service.

Now then, the many flaws... No warm, friendly greeting. Very small portion size. High price. ZERO customer service.

Details. On entering the restaurant neither me or my wife were greeted and welcomed. Looking at the attached picture it is a standard Walmart Style disposable plate. I ordered the "house special" BBQ sandwich which comes on a standard sized hamburger bun. The order likewise comes with two sides both of which barely covered the sides portions of the plate. The price of this plate was on par if not more expensive than a comparable Spring Creek BBQ samdwhich which where they at least allow refills on sides and unlimited rolls. If the option for refills on sides was available it was not brought to either mine or my wife's attention. Lastly, in checking the customer service I asked for a to-go box and was met with an ill-tempered young girl telling me "you can get one yourself" and pointing down the food service line to a stack of to-go boxes.

In my opinion for the prices being charged Baker's ribs fails in the areas of quality, quantity, and customer service. As a barbecue aficionado I would not recommend this location until dramatic...

**Update- decided to give you guys another try. Finally, we were able to score two potatoes stuffed with brisket. Unfortunately, I was calling Deanna before I left the parking lot. I honestly don't understand why the standards at this location are so much different than other Baker's Ribs locations. Was it because we came in "late again" that we paid $31 for potatoes the size of a 5yr olds fist? I will compliment the brisket this time.....it was very good and moist today. I am Genuinely disappointed that this location does not meet the standards of all of the other locations we have visited.

Nice clean-ish location. But, we are sour to this location and will most likely never return based on hours of operation and the fact that we have visited here 4 times and not once have you had baked potatoes available. Never have I ever been to another location with the same name and been as disappointed as we have been here. The brisket is dry the turkey is definitely not the quality one would expect and the sides do not make up for the meat. When we made a complaint we were met with a smile and "well you should get here earlier"....

I have passed by this place so many times and took a leap of faith today to try it. But I'm extremely disappointed and I hope somebody with the business will reach out to me about it.

I ordered a half pound of sliced brisket fatty and if you look at the picture you can see there's probably about half a cup of liquid fat and the meat itself is probably about 75% fat

There's a difference between asking for meat that's fatty and giving a customer straight up fat to eat but I'm too far away right now to turn around and take this crap back

The price I paid was very high although par for the course with brisket these days so it was understandable. But I sure as hell didn't pay the high price to get a half a cup of fat and 75% fat on my meat

On the bright side they did have a drive-thru which was great and from the little bit of meat that I can taste the flavor tastes great. I just wish it...
