Flavor on 51 Food Trailer & Catering — Restaurant in Weatherford

As a retired person in the food sales industry, I was eager to see if "Flavor On 51" lived up to the glowing reviews I had read. Nestled in a charming food trailer attached to a newly enclosed dwelling, the atmosphere was quaint and inviting. The owner was a paragon of hospitality, readily offering recommendations on the menu's most popular dishes. I decided to try the cheesesteak and loaded fries, and the tacos to go, hopeful for a good experience. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm waned after my first bite. While the food was not entirely unpalatable, it lacked the freshness and quality that one would expect from all the positive reviews. I feel guilty speaking my mind, but maybe they were having a bad day. Regrettably, the dishes were reminiscent of uninspired, run-of-the-mill ballpark fare that failed to leave a positive impression. I would rate my food experience a 4 out of 10, everything that was served was of the cheapest ingredients from the fries to the cheesesteak. Maybe fresh cut fries would have helped elevate the disappointing dishes but, everything that was ordered was underwhelming at best. The steep pricing of the dishes only compounded my disappointment.

My husband got the cheesesteak. The taste was good. Could use more meat. I got the cow burger. It was great! Great flavor. Meat was very fresh. Fries were great! My child got the tenders with fries. Tasted great. Child enjoyed it a lot! We got the bang! Pow! Boom! Shrimp. We loved it! Great flavor. Fresh shrimp! I ate most of the salad under the shrimp too. The salad had a lot of dressing on it so it was kinda too sweet to finish it. We got 1 Jumbo bacon brisket popper. It was large. Had great flavor very good! Oh it was a little hard to find the place since it is behind a lot of commercial warehouses. It’s a small place. Eat outside only. We ate in our vehicle. Everybody was very nice & accommodating. .......Update.... Flavor on 51 did it again! Awesome customer service along with amazing food... We had a picky eater with us today, and they said, "No problem, we can make them a custom order." We had the Bang Pow Boom Shrimp (my personal favorite), our picky one had a custom order of fried shrimp, cheese curds, and french fries with a variety of dipping sauces and finally our last order was the classic cow burger with fries. All were delicious (as always), and we all belonged to the Clean plate club.... We are so proud of this little mom and pop shop. Seeing how far they have come in just a short amount of time is a true testament of how amazing they truly are. If you haven't had the chance to check them out, try and pop down and see them.
