I'm only leaving three stars at this time because I didn't get a chance to try the food. I had reviewed the menu before I went inside and decided I wanted the paratha roll. When I walked in at 4:30 p.m. there was no food in the display warmers and no one inside. An older gentleman approached me at the counter without welcoming me or telling me anything about the menu, just standing there, and when I tried to order the paratha roll he looked at me very confused. After trying several attempts to order the roll and even asking him if I was perhaps pronouncing it wrong he decided it was best to find someone else to help me. He went to the back and a younger man came out still looking very confused that I was even there, I tried to order with him and he still acted like he had never heard of this item even though it's on their menu. After finding the item on the menu he told me they couldn't make sandwiches at that time, I felt it was best to cut my losses and maybe try to go back at a later time. When I got in my truck I looked on YouTube and I was pronouncing paratha roll perfectly. The restaurant is very nice and clean and the menu items look really good. Even the pictures of the food I've seen on Google looks really good. I will be giving this place another chance because I really want to try their food and see another restaurant in the area succeed, especially because I love Indian food. If the owner or any employees are reading this, please put more effort into communicating with your customers, welcoming them and explaining your menu and process with them, it will go a long way in making them feel comfortable and wanting to come back. UPDATE: I CAME BACK FOR THE LUNCH BUFFET AND REALLY ENJOYED IT. PLENTY OF OPTIONS AND THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD. THE SERVICE IS STILL VERY LACKING BUT IT SEEMS IT MAY BE A CULTURAL DIFFERENCE OR JUST A FAMILY CHARACTERISTIC. IT'S NOT A PROBLEM EITHER WAY. I WILL BE...
Read moreMy wife and I have been to this nice family owned restaurant twice. We enjoyed the food so much the first time that we brought my parents with us the second time. The food is delicious. Both times we had the buffet. Although you can do menu ordering as well. Both times we ate there for lunch on a Sunday. We will definitely go again. I very much enjoyed the butter chicken and also the chicken biryani. Many other things on the buffet that are very good. But those are the two that I personally enjoyed the most. The staff is very friendly, and both times while we were there, an older gentleman who I believe is the owner came out to check on us and make sure everything was ok and to our liking. Very friendly nice people the family that runs this place. I really wish them the best and that this business does very well. We will be back for sure. The food is delicious. The restaurant is very clean. Everything about this place is very good. I highly recommend it.
Don't forget to try their Chai tea. It's in a self serve container near the register with small tea cups next to it. My wife has close friends from Kerala who moved away a while back. We've been to many Indian restaurants. But my wife says she's hasn't tried Chai tea this good since last she was visiting with her friends. It's good stuff.
The first time we went they had a drink available that I didn't see the second time. It's called "Rose Milk". Wow ! I've tried rose water before. But never had I tried rose milk. Rose milk is so good. Hopefully I get to have some again sometime.
In summary, please go eat here. Excellent...
Read moreI had the opportunity to try this place before the official opening. The place is nice and spacious due to covid-19 didn't see many people there.
When I went there they have salad bar, which have, tabooli, hummus, baba ganoosh, garlic paste, etc etc and all the goodies. They have a buffet menu which is like three or four dishes for the day. I am guessing those dishes are always varies. That day they had rice, falafel, grilled chicken with tomato, potatoes and chick pea gravy. I don't know what it called but man it was fresh and delicious. I loved it. I also ordered one beef shawarma, chicken shawarma, chicken shsih tawook and areesh( beef kabab in a pita bread) and sampler salad( hummus, falafel, kibbeh tabooli) Also I was given rice pudding and other items on the house which was very nice of them.
Every item that I bought was delicious and amazing. Shawarma was nice and thick fulfilling loved it. Shish tawook comes with rice and pita bread. Rice were aromatic full of flavors and tasty, after finishing my chicken I was eating rice by itself they were very delicious. Areeash was amazing too well flavored and delicious.
For the dessert they have baklava but I didn't buy it as I was offered free rice pudding. The pudding was delicious not too sweet, had a nice rose water aroma and topped with pistachios made it light and delicious dessert.
Manager was very nice and friendly I had a great time talking to her. She made me feel welcomed and made sure I was well taken care of. Great service and hospitality.
I wish them all the best and hope to see...
