Bayou — Restaurant in West Hollywood

Food was so delicious! I had the po' boy chicken sandwich... I don't know if it was because I was hungry or because it was so good but I ate the whole thing! Popcorn chicken was nice and juicy. Drinks were great too. They have the premade (strong) slushy like drinks. Bartender was super awesome and sweet. Took his time with us as we tried to decide what we wanted and acknowledged us when we came back to order another round. I went to LA for the second time 3 weeks ago. I wasn’t really planning on going out but one night I went to the Bayou and I’ve been to a lot of bars and I can say it was honestly a breath of fresh air! I had a great time. The atmosphere was fabulous, the drinks were great, and the overall vibe was something I couldn’t leave. Everyone in the bar was smiling and that’s something I can’t say I’ve seen everywhere. Bayou was so fun i just moved here from Denver Colorado and everywhere in weho all these guys have big muscular bodies which is so cool but at the B everyone was just normal day to day average joes with real lives and real personalities and conversation the bartenders put on little skits of dance performances they play movies on the big screen they talk to the guest and shake hands with the guest the make you feel like Bayou family I will visit this place again and again thanks bayou you truly are the voice for the LGBT community...
