9/1/24-6:30pm Just arrived back home on Brightline from a day of shopping at Aventura Mall.. and was hungry.. Ruth’s Chris is one of my favorites! Stopped at the Bar for a Glass of Wine and a salad.. I always feel like family! A warm welcoming professional staff with a classic casual ambiance! The Bartending Team was amazing to experience! Like a smooth operator’s choreographed show.. They were busy and it was team work at its best! Directed by Quinlan! He was a Master at his craft! 5 Star service with a smile! Attentive, respectful and professional! As a senior widow with a service animal I feel very comfortable sitting at the Bar alone. My Pinot Grigio was crisp and cold! I ordered for the first time the Chop Salad. Absolutely delicious! A huge amount -enough for me as a meal! My service animal lays quietly on the floor at my feet. I appreciate being treated with dignity and respect. Their food and service is consistently outstanding! I highly recommend! —————————————————————— 3/21/24- After a day of working at the Boat Show.. we came in for happy hour. Great service by Jimmy and Ian! Sat at the bar and ordered the Special " Fireside Old Fashioned " it's my new favorite! Delicious! My next favorite is the Spicy Shrimp appetizer on the HH menu! Perfectly prepared shrimp with a nice kick and a huge portion!!! Just enough to fill me up.. enough for a table of 4 to share! The newly updated bar/lounge area is relaxing with an upscale vibe! Delicious food, attentive friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere! Great Happy Hour prices, especially for the huge portions! I highly recommend!!!3/5/24-Enjoying HH before a Kravis Performance and the best and most delicious HH is at Ruth Chris! Arrived at 5pm with a good selection for seating in the lounge area. The renovated lounge area is modern and perfectly designed! Love the design! Greeted by Brittney our amazing server, and offered the HH menu. I knew I wanted to try a new signature cocktail, the Fireside Old Fashioned. Brittney brought it to me and knew I would love it! I did! It’s delicious! Try it you’ll love it! My sister ordered her favorite, Chardonnay. We continued with our order, Zucchini sticks to share, steak sandwich rare and the spicy shrimp. Najai was also charming and asked if we wanted to start with bread and butter. Of course we said yes!! OMG! The bread and butter was also delicious!! Zucchini fries are a must! A huge portion enough to share. Crispy and piping hot. My spicy shrimp definitely have a kick to them but are so delicious. The steak sandwich is perfection! Cooked perfectly rare! Huge portion and comes with fries! So much food!! Incredible friendly and attentive service! Ask for Brittney she is amazing! All the staff are very hospitable! I highly recommend!! ——————————————————————— Best Happy Hour around! $9.00 wine and delicious $9,00-$12.00 options! In the bar/lounge only! I chose the Zucchini Fries this time. OMG they came out piping hot and crispy! Dusted with parmigiana and wow! Sooo good! Definitely enough to share! I also love the spicy shrimp and the cheeseburger… The best part is the service! Jimmy was outstanding! Welcoming and attentive! They’ve updated the lounge area and I love it! Definitely needed it! The ambiance is amazing! All the hh menu choices are delicious and large enough to share… enjoy before attending performances at the Kravis Center! What a great place for a glass of wine! A great delicious convenience ! I highly recommend!!!

I’m giving this four stars because we’ve eaten here many times and every time has been good but there always seems to be one or two things wrong. The previous two times my steak was over cooked. I order medium rare and they were both closer to medium/medium well. This time was steak was cooked properly. However, our server was very nice but clearly not polished enough for a fine dining experience. When you’re spending $300-$400 on dinner for two you just expect more. When he asked if we wanted to start with anything I asked for a wine list. It took 15 minutes to bring it to me. When he handed it to me he asked if I know what I wanted. I told him to give me about two minutes to look at it and asked him to put in an order of stuffed mushrooms. Another 15 minutes go by and the appetizer comes to the table before he comes back to get my wine order. He finally does and than he comes back after we finish our appetizer to tell us they no longer carry the wine. I ask for another wine and he says let me see if we carry that one. I also put in our food order at that time. About 10 more minutes go by and our salads come out, before the wine. We’re now at the table for roughly 45 minutes and still have no wine. To top it off our Caesar salads were served with no dressing! When I tell him he replies “oh sorry let me go grab you some dressing” and comes back with two cups of dressing. My wife and I have both worked in fine dining when we were younger and were pretty shocked he didn’t bring the salads back and have them tossed or remade. Finally when the wine hits the table he asks me “do you want to try it or should I just pour it?” That’s also a big “no no” in fine dining. You ALWAYS pour a sample unless your guests say otherwise. The rest of the meal was solid. Steaks were cooked right, lobster tales were good, and the creamed spinach (slightly watery) and cremini mushrooms were delicious. Every time we finished a course he’d say “I’ll be right back to grab those plates” but never would until we stacked them ourselves. He’d walk by several times and didn’t grab them until we’d stack them. We even tested this after we finished our main course and it held true. The included desert of cheese cake with berries was a major disappointment. The berries were fresh and delicious but the cheese cake was disgusting. It tasted like something you’d expect from a hospital cafeteria. We each took one bite and that was more than enough. I wish I could give this place 5-stars I really do. It’s my wife’s favorite steakhouse. But every time we come here I’m let down by something. Usually the service is top notch. Not this time.

I had high hopes for this place and I would say it was barely a 3/5. The steak was fine. My bf and I both ordered medium rare steaks and mine came out medium well. The food tasted great. Steaks were seasoned nicely. Actually, the cheesecake is the best cheesecake I have ever had. I added a star just because of the amazing cheesecake! I wish the dining experience was just about food, but it’s not and this place makes it even more clear to me how important ambiance plays into the experience. The interior decor was underwhelming, it feels like an outdated hotel lobby. The metallic polka dot wallpaper is not holding up well, the seems are very visible. This place is not focused on details either. This may sound silly but the tablecloths are all wrinkled. It’s so easy to spray some water on a tablecloth and smooth it out i have no idea why they don’t do this. The grout on the stairway tiles is so dirty. I normally don’t notice grout but these stairs have an interesting pattern for tile and the grout is visibly dirty. In addition, the bathrooms need a lot of help. It looks like they have done some patchwork in the stalls but never bothered to refinish it. There are random bottles of soup scattered around the sink counters. The hand sanitizer was also empty. The doors need a thorough scrub. We were there from 6-7:30 and I noticed that there were at least 6 staff by the hostess stand hanging out. If they aren’t busy then they need more side work scrubbing this place! We had considered making a reservation here for Mother’s Day and to be completely honest our experience the week before was far from what I was hoping for. I hope they start focusing on details. The shut down for COVID allowed some restaurants to step up their game but the RC in West Palm didn’t invest in the right details. There are nicer steakhouses in the area, unfortunately this one is the one in Rosemary Square. We went here for the convenient location and the great reputation. If you notice details like I do then save your money and go somewhere else.

Usually the service is top notch. ...

Called made a reservation expected we were going to be seated up stairs. They asked us if we could manage going up the stairs. Were both fine with stairs. Then we were getting ready to go to dinner and my husband received a call from Ruth Chris asking if we were still coming for dinner. What was that all about? We never received a call like that before. To arrive and be seated in the middle of the main floor out in the open. That room was like sitting in a school cafeteria. This place was not what I expected at all, no romance or ambiance. There were two places in the whole room that might meet the standard of the cost to dine there. When he did finally came to the table. It had to be twenty minutes maybe longer before he came back to take our drink order. I said to him I really scared you away. He poured our first glass of wine. I had to ask my husband to pour me more wine. When the waiter came he said, he was going to pour my wine. Well jokingly I said, I was in a hurry. I know your not supposed to move or pick up your own dishes when they are empty. But they were sitting there way to long on the table empty. I wanted then out of my way when we was finished eating so I stacked and moved them. The waiter scraped the crumbs from one side of the table but not the other. We decided to take some of our steak home and our desert to go. We order a meal for two which included soup or salad, Tom a hock steak, mashed potato's, creamy spinach and desert. I told the waiter there was only one desert. He said yes, one desert to share. I was really taken back by that, I said to him are you for real. He said, would you like to see the manager. This was our first time out in over a year due to Covid-19. What a terrible experience. My husband was going to paid top tip. Until he seen the reaction from our waiter with me. He wanted to leave nothing but he couldn't bring himself down to that level. To us we will never go back there. This Ruth Chris is way over priced for for what you get. It...
