Jimmy John's — Restaurant in West Valley City

This location is a hit and miss if you get good service. Before covid it was a good place, people were nice and we never had a problem. However the last 2 times we have ordered, we have had issues. The first time I called and talked to the manager. He refunded my money, I thought that the issues would have been dealt with. Well I was sadly wrong. I have to have an unwich due to allergies. I get home and open up my unwich, I was sad to see that I again I had meat and toppings, and the lettuce was not around all of it. Plus we ordered and paid for avocado on two sandwiches, it was not on either of them. Filled out the survey, even said I wanted to be contacted to get things resolved. 2 weeks later I haven't had a call or email. Makes me sad, things have gone down...

I got my confirmation order e-mail at 11:22, at 12:42 I had still not received my delivery order which was two sandwiches, a pickle and a cookie. So, I called and was told explained my order had not been received until 12:20-ish. The man I talked to (Tommy, I believe), told me the driver left 3 minutes ago. Told me to call back if my sandwiches had not arrived within the next 5 minutes. I called back about 1pm, still no sandwich. He did resolve the situation with a $5 dollar credit. But 90 minutes for a sandwich delivery is WAY TOO LONG. Won't be ordering from that location anymore. If your deliveries are taking 90 minutes even at lunch, that is a sign you need to hire more...

This Jimmy John's location used to be excellent. I used to order 2-4 nights a week because it was always fast, always accurate, and a great value.

They are still fast, I'll give them that! But over the last 2 months the quality of service has really declined. Anymore, if you order a toasted sub, it's a coin flip whether or not it actually will be. Same thing if you get xtras or add-ons, it might be right, it might not.

Personally, I'd rather have accuracy and consistency than a sandwich at my door in 10 minutes. And it doesn’t have the same sense of value that it did, especially when there are other comparably priced sandwich shops in...
