GROW Plant Bar — Restaurant in Wichita

Stopped for a tea on my way to work , I’d been wanting to go for the past couple days , was really looking fwd to it … Iv had the tea before and loved it , from start to finish was just a disappointment. They didn’t have any scones which was okay but they did have other things like muffins nd such , looking at the 4.50 price for one pastry no matter if it was small or the bigger ones the price was pretty much the same , they were placing the muffins in plastic wrap , and I could see them just taking them out of a plastic container. So they jus go and buy big batches from cosco nd put their own price tag on it , so I had thought maybe they were fresh from a bakery not store bought muffins , 🙄 back to my tea situation I tell the lady I want 2 large tea’s Well, she’s making the teas. I noticed that the cup is on the smaller side and ask is that your largest cup seeing on their menu they have 12 and 16 ounce cups , She notices and gives me the correct cup which had I not said anything I wouldn’t have gotten what I asked for then tells me it’s gonna take five minutes for the teas to finish well if I wanted them to go that really shouldn’t matter so that was annoying. The teas Aren’t filled all the way up, so I say something to her and she adds more water & on the way out the door the lid comes off. I nearly drop one of the tees and it goes all over my arm and clothes. I have a burn on my arm now thank you. Then to top it off this expensive fancy place gets the cheapest of the cheapest cups they can charge almost 5 dollars for a dang muffin tho!!!?! When I tell you their cups are cheap they are cheap comes off so easily and while I was drinking my tea, I noticed a lot of it was spilling out onto myself so let’s just say I will never be here again, I will find another little nook to get...

As an avid plant mama and collector I was so excited for Grow to expand! However, upon arriving I was met with a rude employee who was speaking with lots of ignorance. The space should be a safe environment for everyone to learn and progress as no one will ever know everything but I feel that the manner a certain employee is spreading false information with such conviction is truly upsetting. False claims about plants and prices is just not what I expected to be met with. I have a good understanding about plants and flowers alike as a florist myself, it’s something I have passion for. Sometimes you don’t know who you are talking to or the depth of knowledge one might have. So being truthful and transparent about things should be something these employees need to be taught. I do not want to reveal which employee it is as it can be a learning experience for all and I never want to be hateful towards her for something that can be easily fixed. That’s all I have to...

This place is not only esthetically pleasing, but very rich in personality. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar area is gorgeous and the menu has lots of unique drinks you can't find anywhere else. An array of plants, potters, stickers, jewelry, and various decor. There are many couches/chairs/tables to accommodate seating. Decent sized open patio area to sit and have a drink, or read. Large area indoor for meetings/larger groups. The best part of this place is the DIY plant area where you have the option to make your own terrarium or decorate a pot. You have the option to choose from different vases/pots/plants. They have super cute rocks/sand/decor/ect to utilize as well that are included for free with the purchase of pot/plant. I spent $30 on a glass thing (pot, vase thing, idk?) And my daughter was able to pick a plant to decorate. It was well worth the money, and we will definitely be back....
