My wife and I while visiting back at Wichita decided to view this attraction. For the attraction review. I think it was a very nice presentation with a Great mixture of Water, Light and Music visuals and sound. Great addition to the River Walk area.
For the experience I have to say it was not as it should have been. We got there about 20 minutes before the show at 9. Almost first on site. Other people soon came until the side walk line was filled as well as much of the lawn behind. The show started and almost immediately, a Lady, said they owned the animal rescue in Wichita, began to dance up and down the side walk with her two daughters, I guess. I and my wife had sat down so other people behind could see better. Big Mistake. This lady continued to trapes back and forth in front of us. I almost got kicked several time by her daughter doing some kind of kick dance?????. and most the time none of them were even looking at the fantactic show going on right behind. Needless to say when I asked if she minded if I could just watch the show, well you know how that went. We moved down the side walk about 30 feet and finished the show next to a couple that had a child that for some reason seemed to be in competetion with the music. He actually talked and yelled louder than the music. Summary, Nice show if people would just let others enjoy it. The Rude, Uncurtious Lady, I can only say her parents failed at teaching her to be curtious and showing consideration for others. As for the screeming 4 or 5 year old, his parents are in the process of failing. I know there will be some partying at things like this but what has happend to old faction concereration for others. What is wrong today that prevents parents from teaching their young manners or with the kids for...
Read moreThis is a really nice area. I've attended a few events that used this space and it was always a very good fit. Plenty of spots to sit and little out of the way spots to observe. When nothing organized is going on, it's a good place to just visit and go for a walk or eat...
