John Barleycorn's — Restaurant in Wichita

Come here if you want to be treated with the rudest customer service you could ever imagine. She ( dona the bartender)cussed out musicians for practicing in a unmarked unlocked back room bathroom which was "for bands" that did not have any sort of sign to state no one was supposed to be in there. She screamed and was irate cursing at wonderfull respectful gentlemen and was completely out of line to the guys who were practicing and who are also paying customers and regulars there. If it had been marked "do not enter" fine ,or kindly said this room is for employees only fine, that would have been respected, but they didn't know, and I was shocked at her level of unprofessionalism for her handling of the situation and will NEVER go back to this establishment, nor will the musicians who were treated this way and we're weekly regulars. We went there to watch a band, the band was great. The bar not so much. The place was dirty, the women's bathroom had 1 roll of tp the ladies had to keep passing from stall to stall and no one was checking the condition of the bathroom throughout the night. Drinks were not good, they were over pouring and not mixed well. Also the drinks were over priced for what you got. I will say the bartenders were very tentative just not well trained. Also they were over serving by a long shot. I watched them carry one lady out of the bar, had a drink poured on me by another drunk lady who didn't seem to realize she was holding a beer when she threw her hands up, and another threatened to fight my spouse over miss hearing him. We went there to watch a band, the band was great. The bar was beautiful. The place was super clean, the women's bathroom had 100000 rolls of tp the ladies had so much tp! Everyone was so happy throughout the night. Drinks were so good, they were pouring just right and mixing so well. Also the drinks were perfectly priced for what you got. I will say the bartenders were very tentative and well trained! Also they were great at serving.
