I ordered lunch for a friend and I last week. She picked it up at 225pm. We ordered the lunch special, beef, and broccoli and I ordered sweet-and-sour pork. She came back and we were eating the food and I noticed it didn’t taste like pork, it was chicken. I don’t eat chicken. I called them to tell them my order was wrong but I got no answer. Looked online and they were closed until five. I gave the food to someone who eats chicken. The next day my friend called and told them my order was wrong and they asked her to bring it in so they can see it. Seriously! They came up with all kinds of questions and assured her they were not wrong and wanted to know why I didn’t call them when I found out it was wrong. I did call, however they were closed. I left work before five and was not going to wait until then to take food back. The customer service received was not professional. I don’t eat chicken so I would have not ordered it! They didn’t want to resolve the issue so I am here. I don’t enjoy posting negative post, however this was warranted. No apology for anything they did such as serve me chicken. I know there are people out there who lie about food but this is not the case. Do better! Plus if you look at your call log, you would have seen that I called and what...
Read moreEverything was fine until we used a prepaid Mastercard to pay for part of our bill, we were declined by the restaurant owner. It was a prepaid Mastercard with cash value and showed as a debit card on the face of the card. It was a gift from a friend. The owner put all bill on our other debit card without consulting with us. Also, the owner sent a waiter to tell us that he/she couldn’t accept a gift card which can be used at certain stores like Walmart. My husband felt insulted like we’re trying to use a Walmart gift card to offset part of our meal bills.
The right way to do is to discuss your concerns with the customers and ask them how they want to pay for the bill if you really don’t want to accept certain debit cards. Please do not just swipe the card without confirming with the customers. Also please do not assume something and insult your loyal customers. Please come to talk to us first.
We use exactly the same prepaid Mastercard at the Red Lobster the next day and...
Read moreI haven't been feeling well and eating is challenging sometimes. But tonight, after dropping off the kids in Wichita to go to camp, I began calling to find a Chinese restaurant that serves Wor Wanton Soup. That's the most delicious therapeutic soup in the world and not easily found away from the West Coast.
Lee's Chinese Restaurant made it special order for me and it was so incredibly delicious! My husband's Broccoli Beef was delicious too, and comparing it to what we usually get he said normally it has a bitter taste but Lee's was smooth and light.
Really, it was the kind of food you'd get from your sweet Chinese Grandmother's kitchen.
And the people, oh, my stars! As kind, and gracious, and accommodating... and delightful as you'd ever want!
So, if you're in Wichita and you want classical Chinese food, please go to Lee's. I'm so touched by my experience there. And if your soul and body need a fix, get the Wor...
