I am writing this review because of the service I have received related to policy. Papa Murphy's has the most out of touch online ordering system. So all of you know, if you order a pizza online the pricing is $10 for a large and $12 for a family —which is for any pizza. Start with the most toppings and alter them until you get what you want and the price will still be $12.
During the past few years, sometimes the system is up and sometimes down. I give a 50/50 from my experience. Now the online ordering system will allow you to build your order but stop and direct you to call the store to place the order (when the system is down).
Now, in the past, Papa Murphy's has honored the pricing, due to the website problems. However, as of recent months, it is like pulling teeth to get them to honor the deal. The last time I was in the Wilsonville location, picking up my online order, I had a discussion with Steve (manager) who was refusing to honor the deal for the next online order I place. I responded to that by saying...then you need to pull the ordering system or state to the customer that at the moment all online deals are not valid. You do not direct someone through the whole ordering process, tell them to call the store to place the order, and then refuse to honor the deal.
Following this discussion, Steve back pedaled and said he would honor the online deal for me anytime. Well the next time I placed an order, they served me attitude with a side of refusal! This is the straw that broke this camels back.
I encourage everyone to place and online order, call as directed and tell them you expect them to honor deal!

However, the quality of how it is put together is hit and miss at this location. We moved a couple years ago and had to change the location we go to. I don't know if we are still getting used to this new location or we just miss the previous one where they knew us when we walked in. Some weeks the pizzas are put together really well with the amount of toppings you would expect spread out with care. Other weeks it's obvious the pizza was thrown together in a rush: toppings all dumped in the middle with little attention to the placement. I've had to "rebuild" them a time or two so they would cook evenly. Some weeks the greeting when you walk in is upbeat and friendly, other weeks... not so much. Having worked in customer service for 30+ years, I know we all have 'off' days and these kids are still learning how to set that aside and put a smile on their face and in their voice even when they don't feel like it. Read moreSuch an annoying experience and I WAS a huge lover of PM. Placed an order and upon arrival they’re doing maintenance on their store and their cash registers were unable to be used. Maybe do this after hours or before your store opens. I had to write my credit card information down after I was unable to download the app like they suggested I do for payment.
The gentleman doing the work, who I assume was the owner gave the impression it was my problem because their system was unable to process a card payment.
