After landing late in Hanoi, we arrived there quite late and they were nice for letting us stay and grab something from the breakfast menu.
We got Tom yum soup (smaller portion, no noodles), and mushroom rice. It was very tasty, and service was great so we decided to go back.
The second time, the experience was slightly different. We arrived at dinner time so the place was super packed and only one young boy was working.
We ordered a few things and waited quite a while for it to come. When it finally arrived, my partner saw that there were eggs in his dish, that was supposed to be vegan.
We went to tell the girl that was working on the first floor, since the boy who took our order wasn’t speaking English very much.
She apologised and said they will make a new one. While waiting, a man from the other table came and told us they did the same with his dish too - it had egg, but it was supposed to be vegan.
Anyway, the second one came in, and had egg again. We felt disappointed, since it is a veggie place and it’s written in the menu that they have vegan option for most dishes.
Also, they should hire more people, as it was way too much work for a single person to take care...
Read moreThe menu has vegetarian and vegan options and allergens and non-vegan ingrediants are marked and there are pictures for most of the meals. We ordered 2 meals without egg because we're vegan and one of us is allergic to egg. After we started eating we recognized that there was egg in our meals. We told the staff and they apologized and because our chosen meal was sold out we couldn't order the same meal without egg again. Thats why we chose another option. On the picture in the menu there was shown a bowl full of tofu and there was coconut sauce in the ingredients. When our meals arrived we got two bowls with just 5 pieces of tofu in it. The sauce was without coconut sauce and our two meals tasted completely different, both not good, one with way too much salt in it. So it seems like the kitchen didn't care to make up for their mistake and made it even worse. The egg allergie "just" became stomach cramps so...
Read moreWe came here after arriving late in Hanoi and they stayed open so we could order simple food off the breakfast menu. The Tom yum soup and mushroom rice was delightful.
Because we enjoyed it so much we came back a few nights later and I ordered a vegan version of noodles. Unfortunately it came with egg so I asked for a new one, it also came with egg. The host was very apologetic but given that this is a vegan/veggie restaurant and they advertise vegan on the menu I’m pretty disappointed.
We also waited 40 minutes for our food.
There was only one person working the tables and the restaurant was full so it would make sense that there was mistakes made. They need to improve the service with more staff.
On the plus the food is tasty but unfortunately I wasn’t able to eat my preferred dish. I really wish I could rate higher because I enjoyed the food but the rest needs a big...
