Blackbird Coffee — Restaurant in Hà Nội

My recent experience at Black Bird Coffee was disappointing to say the least. Despite the café not being full, the waitress approached our two families with an unwarranted request to keep our babies quiet, which was both rude and insensitive. Her manner of asking us to remove the prams was equally impolite, making it abundantly clear that this establishment is not at all family-friendly.

For a place that prides itself on hospitality, it was disheartening to feel unwelcome simply because we had infants with us. It's worth noting that the café was not crowded, so the request to quiet down was unwarranted.

As patrons who value inclusivity and basic courtesy, we expected a more accommodating environment. Sadly, our experience at Black Bird Coffee fell far short of these expectations. It's regrettable that such behavior overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable outing.

In conclusion, if you're seeking a welcoming atmosphere where families are respected, I would suggest looking elsewhere until Black Bird Coffee reassesses its approach to customer service.

Nicely designed cosy 3rd wave cafe on a beautiful street. Latte we had there was good, so we decided to get a bag of arabica catimor whole beans (local grown and roasted), and was given the only bag on their display shelf. In our rush we did not notice then that there was no roasting date and did not do a smell test. When we brewed it back home the beans were dry and woody, with no aroma whatsoever and coffee was stale tasting :-( very disappointed

It’s everything you look for in a specialty coffee place. After 5 days of burned coffee in Phuket we found Blackbird and it was exactly what we needed.

We got the double espresso, Americano, macchiato and coconut cream espresso. All the drinks were flavourful. The espresso was fruity and had bright flavours. The best part was that even in the Americano, the taste of the coffee wasn’t diluted. The coconut cream espresso drink was delicious as well, and for someone who doesn’t usually get fancy drinks, this was really something unique and tasty.

The cafe has a cool vibe, it’s cool inside and the aesthetic is awesome. There’s also some seating outside.
