### Restaurant Review: An Unforgettable Culinary Delight During my recent visit, I was exceptionally pleased with the overall experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the restaurant’s impeccable cleanliness and inviting ambiance. The décor was charming and exuded a warm, cozy vibe that made me feel welcome immediately. **Food and Presentation:** The food was nothing short of spectacular. I ordered the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi, and each dish was prepared to perfection. The Butter Chicken was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of spices that complemented the tender chicken pieces. The Chicken Tikka Masala was equally impressive, featuring succulent, marinated chicken in a robust and flavorful sauce. The Garlic Naan was warm and perfectly crispy, just right to soak up all the delightful sauces. The presentation of the food was equally commendable. Each dish was served hot and looked as appetizing as it tasted. The vibrant colors of the dishes added to the overall dining experience, making it a feast for both the eyes and the palate. **Service:** The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and consistently attentive, frequently checking in to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. Their hospitality and readiness to assist were greatly appreciated, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. **Ambiance:** The ambiance deserves a special mention. The restaurant had a cute and warm aesthetic that contributed to a relaxing dining environment. Soft lighting, tasteful interior decor, and a soothing atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or solo, the ambiance enhances the overall experience. **Final Thoughts:** Overall, my experience at this restaurant was delightful from start to finish. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance made for a perfect evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy some delicious cuisine in a warm and inviting setting. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking to try something new, this restaurant is sure to impress. *Rating: 5/5*

Rk Spice is quite possibly the best Indian restaurant in Hanoi with a solid menu and excellent service. You'll come with an empty stomach but leave with a full heart. There's just no other way to put it. I highly recommend the Mutton Rogan Josh as a main entree. This should be paired with a vegetable main dish of your choosing. If you're eating with friends or family, order two of this dish so you can get your fill! I also recommend the Chicken Makloubeh. It's great when paired with Channa Masala or other vegetable dish. Of course, I should also give you a secret tip. You can try to save money by ordering a Butter Chicken and Naan combo, but that's taking the easy way out. Order a couple of Paratha instead of Naan. Their Parathas are expertly cooked, and always come out perfectly crisp yet soft. I would be remiss to not share kind words about the staff, who are courteous and very noble people. They make sure that your order is fulfilled to your specifications and brought out steaming hot. They always go the extra mile to make your experience divine. My only complaint about Rk is that they need a larger space for their restaurant. It can sometimes be very lively, with customers coming and going. Such a fantastic restaurant deserves a fantastic building. I've eaten at this restaurant at least 50 times. I've also taken a photo of every meal I've eaten at Rk. I intend to use those photos to make a collage poster someday to show my appreciation for their hospitality. Please keep up the great work! JAI SHREE RAM!

This restaurant is owned by a gentleman from Pakistan. He gives native Vietnamese a 10% discount and I think it’s a great way to promote South Asian food in general and in particular Indian/Pakistano food. Location and atmosphere: the restaurant is located in a small and busy old street of Hanoi. It’s more convenient to go by motorcycle or by walk. I did not visit the second floor but it seems like the restaurant is quite old, it surely has been renovated but not the point of looking fabulous for photos and such. The first floor has a small bathroom for hand-washing only. The first floor can accommodate up to 15 guests I think. I didn’t meet any Vietnamese customer that day but all foreigners. Food: as a person whose childhood was in India, the food tastes similar to what I had back then. However the spiciness and flavors are reduced to somewhat more suitable for Vietnamese (maybe because we order mid level 🌶). If the crust of the samosa would be a little thinner then that’s perfect. The naan was even bigger than my whole hand, i would prefer a little crispier. Butter chicken and curry mutton were all delicious. Price: I don’t remember exactly each dish’s price but in total it was around 370.000vnd, we got 10% discount. Butter chicken and naan combo was 129.000vnd. Samosa was around 60.000vnd as I remember. Payment method: they accept cards, bank transfers and of course cash. Even visa cards i think. Overall: i will definitely comeback with my family. A little small restaurant but worth the try.

As a muslim traveller, it is often difficult to find halal food, let alone a good one. On my 1st day in Hanoi, i tried an Indian restaurant (starts with letter K) and i was unhappy with the price. So i did a quick search and chance upon PK Spice. Half-hearted, i went over to take out dinner. (Mind you i am still feeling upset with my previous experience at K restaurant). This is definitely one of the best halal restaurant out here in Hanoi! The portion sizes are big. I was wondering why the owner looked concerned when i ordered the food for myself. He told me the portion will be big and it was indeed big. One naan can easily feed 2 people. The 4 piece chicken cutlet starter can easily be a main course. My only regret is forgetting to take a photo of my food to post together with my review here. Clearly shows how much i enjoyed the food. Muslim travellers and those looking for authentic Indian food in Hanoi, this is the place you have to vist. They also deliver for free if your hotel is located nearby. Will definitely visit again before i leave Hanoi. (Edit) I went back to the place again the next day to break my fast. Once again, the food was truly great. Mr Ali, the owner, was really kind to provide additional item with no charge as we broke our fast there. Added photos!

The Spice Indian is one of a dozen or so restaurants in the Old Town, all within an easy walk from each other, so you might want to look at a few before choosing where to have a meal. The ambience maybe too Indian for some, especially if you just want to have Indian food without being reminded too much of home. It's a place that attracts Indian tourists apart from Indian expats in Hanoi. A bit too colourful and gaudy, think of jazzed up dhabas back home, with seepage on the walls(that's true for a lot of Hanoi's Old Town during the monsoons), the seating is on two floors. I preferred to sit in the mezzanine, the better to enjoy the scene below. It's a noisy place, with Indians letting down their hair in terms of decibel levels. The restaurant has good-value thali combos, both non-vegetarian and vegetarian, as well as great-value butter chicken combos. I was hungry and ordered a Veg Thali combo and a sweet lassi. The lassis again are great value, especially if you've travelled through Saigon, Nha Trang and Hoi An, and balked at the pricey lassis there. The thali came with an incredibly huge naan, delicious daal, a yummy baingan masala(my fav), an aloo kofta and a raita. The aloo kofta was avoidable, but the rest was eminently enjoyable.

Very friendly and accommodating staff able to easily accommodate my dietary requirements. They knew exactly what curries were vegan and which bread I could have. I ordered the channa masala for 100K, rice for 35K and naan bread for 29K. I have to mention the sheer size of the naan bread. It was huge not at all the portion size I was expecting. I ended up splitting the rice with my friend, so glad he hadn't ordered his yet. The naan was so soft and had a perfect chewy texture suited to dipping into curry. The rice was also well cooked. The waiters were very informative that the channa masala was spicy and it did have heat but it wasn't knock out. The spice didn't just come from a bunch of chilli's so they clearly know how to bring the heat but still have tasty food. I will say I didn't enjoy a buttery note that came from the channa masala. It wasn't what I was looking for when I ordered a vegan curry. I am not sure how the curry had that flavour profile. Overall, this was a spectacular meal woth wonderful service. I would be happy to go again, keeping everything the same but trying a different curry.
