The Vietnamese coffee experience is really something else... With the coffee beans burnt to something closer to charcoal than roasted coffee, little is left of the actual coffee flavour. Instead you drink what tastes like burnt soil diluted in water, it's served cold or warm and often infused with so much sugar (or condensed milk) as to hide the flavour. Fun fact, it doesn't work... As a devoted coffeista, enthusiast, addict, call me what you want, coffee is a gift from God, it should be cherrished and enjoyed to the fullest.
