Hien Coco Restaurant — Restaurant in Hội An

Coco was an amazing host. From the time She picked me up from the airport until the day she dropped me off. She is so kind and considerate and looked after me, especially when I was a bit sick with a head cold. She’s a great cook and her home stay is very comfortable and clean. She took me all over Hoi An, showing me sights I would never have seen with the usual tourist tours. She even arranged a special goodbye to my late wife with a ceremony performed by a Buddhist monk and the scattering of her ashes on the river in Hoi An. She knows everyone and is very well respected in Hoi An., she is the go to lady if you need suits made or shopping done. Coco is a very honest and sincere person and we have become more like family than Friends. I hope she can get plenty of support from this review. You won’t be disappointed, she’s a very special lady.

I’ve just spent another five weeks here at Cocos Homestay, (12 June to 18 July 2024) and once again, I had a great time. Coco gave me a great deal on her motor bike hire which made it very easy to get around, you just need to understand the road rules. Coco took me to the beach at An Bang but we went after 4 pm when most of the tourists leave and all the locals come down. WOW, what a great experience, chatting and eating with the locals trying food I would never have tried...

This is about their laundry service, not about the food.

Be careful that you don't get scammed. The woman from the restaurant saw me with my laundry walking down the street and offered me to do my laundry for 25k/kilo. As I was in a rush I didn't have it weighted before. She said I can come pick it up later at her place 2 houses down the road, but as I arrived in the evening (around half past 5) it was closed. In the morning I came to pick up my clothes and I was told that it would be 4kg. I was a bit surprised as I expected it to be less but payed the price anyways. Back in my hostel I weighted my laundry and it was 1,5 kg. I went back to the place and they first tried to tell me that dirty clothes are heavier. After abiut 20 minutes of discussion with the people at the place and a phone call with another woman (all of them trying to tell me that it's not their responsibility) I finally got back the money that I paid too...

I recently visited Hien Coco, and I can honestly say it was the best restaurant experience I've ever had. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were always willing to help out with any request. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

The food at Hien Coco is simply amazing - everything we tried was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious!

Overall, our time at Hien Coco was an absolute pleasure - we had such a great time! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an enjoyable dining experience in town. 5...
