I recently had the pleasure of visiting Unicorn bowl & coffee , a charming coffee shop in Hoi An. What sets this place apart is not only the excellent coffee they serve but also the exceptional team that runs it, especially Mr. Sergey. His passion for his job is truly inspiring and adds a special touch to the overall experience.
One of the main reasons I chose to visit Unicorn was because they offer coffee making classes for just $2. This is an unbelievable price for the level of service and expertise they provide. I had the opportunity to learn about different types of coffee, including salted, coconut, egg, and yogurt coffee. It was a unique and educational experience that I highly recommend to both tourists and locals.
Unicorn bowl & coffee is not just a coffee shop; it's a place where you can immerse yourself in the rich coffee culture of Vietnam. Sergey and his team go above and beyond to ensure that every customer has a memorable and enjoyable time. Thank you, Sergey, for your dedication and passion for what you do. I will definitely be returning to Unicorn on my next...
Read moreI initially stopped in just for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find they offer free classes on how to make some of Vietnam’s most iconic coffee styles—Coconut Coffee, Salted Coffee, Egg Coffee, and Yogurt Coffee. I ended up coming back three mornings in a row to learn how to make Coconut Coffee, Egg Coffee, and Yogurt Coffee—and I’m so glad I did!
The classes were hands-on, fun, and very informative. The owner walked me through each step with patience and clarity, explaining the ingredients, timing, and mixing techniques to get everything just right. The coffees turned out delicious, especially the coconut one—it was rich, smooth, and perfectly chilled.
The cafe itself is colorful and welcoming, with playful unicorn-themed decor, cozy seating, and cheerful quotes on the walls. The owner was incredibly friendly and always smiling, making the entire experience feel warm and personal. If you’re after a unique coffee experience in Hoi An, I highly recommend stopping by and learning to make your own brew.

Read moreWhat a great little find. We were recommended this by the owner of our accommodation and as soon as they mentioned it another guest said they'd visited the day before and it was great too.
We had a smoothie bowl each and they were wonderful, made with a lot of care and attention to detail.
We decided to try the salt coffee here too as we'd seen it listed everywhere in Hoi An and it was the great too. The best part was we got to make the coffee ourselves and learn how it was done for free. (Of course making our coffee was optional, but there was plenty of instruction so we couldn't mess it up).
Quirky fun decor and the quiet street outside makes sitting here a good option to get away from the heat and crowds of old town for a little while too.
Highly...
