We explored the cafe scene in Hoi An a lot in our 2 week stay here, and this is without a doubt the best Cafe in town, we went there 5 times. Located in a quiet alley, the owner is incredibly accommodating and the cafe has a great charm and vibe ❤️Her menu focuses solely on drinks, but every one we tried was great. The matcha latte is the best we’ve ever had with cute art on top, she offers different espresso blends of Robusta/Arabica and her coconut coffee is amazing! She also crochets on the side and sells her beautiful handmade pieces in the shop for incredibly cheap considering the work it takes to make them. We loved her monstera crochet so much (see pictures) we asked her to make a few more for us and we were able to pick it up a few days later. This is probably one of the most fascinating coffee shops I have ever visited in Hoi An. There is a unique tea called "Cu Lao Tea" which was made from leafs, it sounds ordinary at first but this tea is no ordinary amongst any other type of tea. I was lucky to try either HOT and COLD Cu Lao tea and I personally opt for the former one because it gave the original smell and taste to it. Having seen the other reviews, I expected better coffee. We had a salt coffee and a coconut coffee. Presentation and service were good and the proprietor was pleasant. She allows you to bring cakes from the french pastry shop opposite, which is a great idea. However, as a lifelong coffee drinker, I was disappointed with the low strength of the coffee in both. The coconut coffee just tasted like a sweet coconut drink. I could not really detect the coffee. The salt coffee tasted weak to me also. Anyhow, it is a nice relaxing place to go.
