The vegetarian wontons and vegan pork bao buns were very good, along with the mango salad. However, there was a language barrier as they seemed to not speak much english (which is not necessarily a problem), but my brother has allergies to peanuts, nuts and sesame. We had a note clearly specifying that written in Vietnamese which we showed the waiter, who seemed to understand. But when the food came out there was sesame and nuts in lots of the food which obviously was not ideal as he couldn’t have anything. We had chicken and rice which had no flavour and the rice was undercooked. The rose dumplings were equally flavourless. The sauce in the chicken bao buns only consisted of mayonnaise.
This was our most expensive meal in the entirety of Vietnam and definitely the most inauthentic which was surprising given the restaurant’s description as “home cooked food”.

The prices are actually cheap for Hoi An but you won't notice any drop in quality when you try the food. My Wife and I had the grilled pork bao bun, wonton noodles with charsiu sauce and the grilled pork rolls all to share with a couple of beers and it was incredible.
