Allez Boo — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

This was one of the worst restaurant/bars I've ever been to. If I could give zero stars I would. Firstly, we were seated upstairs and totally ignored. When we moved downstairs we continued to order drinks. Upon receiving the check, my brother realized they had charged us for 9 beers even though I had only had 1 and he had 4 (5 total). We brought this up to the waitress, who then accused us of lying. The manager also accused of us lying. I made the waitress count out her unorganized order notes and there were not 9 beer orders. It turned into an us against them situation where they continued to yell and accuse us of lying. They said we couldn't leave until we paid. We eventually paid for 7 beers because we were then threatened with police involvement. They were incredibly rude. We probably lost $4-5 which obviously is not a big deal. What we found more upsetting was how they blatantly tried to rip us off and then accuse us of being liars....

We stopped by after very long day out, because it seemed as a very nice restaurant, we immidiately ordered 2 water and 2 beer as we were very thirsty. Grave mistake we were about to find out later on the bill. Water was 60k as was the beer. One would expect such as prices in Vienna aiport, but in that location normal prices are around 10-30k. After we get the menu, waitress was nowhere to find, so I decided to go order food on the bar. Menu looked ok, food was not as overpriced, but then we received it. Small sandwich and seafood noodles with the cheapest instant noodles and few sad pieces of seafood. Then we wanted to pay, so I had to once again go find waitress and kindly ask if we may pay. This place scammed us and then threatened us verbally and physically! They told us the drinks were a 2 for 1 special and then charged us double on our bill. We asked to speak to the manager, who insisted that we pay the total bill with no compromise. After a long argument, they locked us in a room and threatened to beat us if we didn't pay our bill. We contemplated calling the police, but they got more aggressive, verbally and physically, bringing in more guards holding bats. We were scared to say the least. Finally, we ended up paying the total bill and leaving to avoid more problems (and for our safety this seemed like the best option). I would NOT recommend this bar. They scammed us on the price, and then made us feel in danger when we contested to pay. Not a place I want...
