Avenue Hostel Yerevan — Attraction in Yerevan

2nd Review (Downgrade):

I returned for an additional 3 nights following a trip to Goris only to be awoken on 2/3 of said nights by itching and biting. I had lots of red dots on my body as a consequence, as it would appear the bed is contaminated with bed bugs (and I've travelled enough to know these these were most certainly bed bugs), and upon checkout, I looked down the side of the mattress to an accumulation of dust wads, old food and general trash. Disgusting! Beneath the beds hasn't been cleaned in a long time, if ever. Additionally, the 2nd older bathroom is delapidated with a broken shower head, and blocked drain. Bed bugs is obviously a no go, though I doubt anything will be done about it, as they will have to spray and replace the mattresses, and immorality is more cost effective 👍. Obviously, don't stay here.

A homely environment - and though compact, it seems to work well. The bed was good, and the room, well-designed....

I stayed here for two nights and honestly had a really good experience. The location is very convenient — close to the center, so it’s easy to move around and explore the city. The staff were super kind and helpful; when I asked if I could leave my luggage for a while after check-out, they agreed without hesitation, which I really appreciated (not every place allows this).

When I went to the toilet at night, the administrator harassed me and didn't allow me to sleep. He asked me to come to the cold street for about 20 minutes at night and told me how should I dress up at night if I want to go to the toilet. He was extremely rude and disrespectful.
