Throughout the performance, the audience behavior was appalling — people were recording and taking photos with their phones, chatting with their neighbors, slamming doors mid-performance, dropping their phones, spilling wine glasses, coughing incessantly, and constantly sniffing. It was nearly impossible to stay focused on the music.

What made it worse was that there appeared to be no staff from the event organizer inside the hall to monitor or manage any of this. As a result, all the distractions went unchecked, which speaks volumes about the level of organization and respect for both the performers and the audience.

As for the performance itself, it was unfortunately underwhelming. The musicians made frequent mistakes, and the overall quality of the playing did not meet the expectations one would reasonably have for a concert in Salzburg.

Professionelle aber uninspirierte Massenabfertigung

Pro: Fahrt mit der Bahn auf die Festung ist inkludiert. Grandioser Ausblick auf Salzburg am Abend. Personal ist freundlich Musiker waren absolute Profis Die Zugabe hat das Konzert gerettet

Con: Konzert findet im "Keller" der Gaststätte an der Festung statt. Großspurig "Wappensaal" genannt. Der Saal ist in einem miserablen Zustand und müsste dringend renoviert und vor allem mal ordentlich geputzt werden. Eingangsbereich, Empfang, Garderobe und Zugang haben auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. 70er-Jahre-Charme lässt grüßen. Die Stühle im Saal sind furchtbar unbequem. Nach 15 Minuten hat man entweder eingeschlafene Füße oder Kreuzschmerzen. Das Programm ist dermaßen trist, dass ich nach 10 Minuten weggenickt bin. Mehrere Gäste haben das Konzert bereits in der Pause verlassen. Mozart hat so viele schöne, eingängige Stücke. Warum muss man da extra Sonaten spielen, bei denen einem das Gesicht einschläft??? Die Touristen, die das Programm buchen haben ganz andere Vorstellungen. 50 Euro für eine Stunde Konzert inkl. Pause! Respekt! Der Vortrag war absolut professionell, aber unglaublich uninspiriert. Vermutlich hängt einem auch als Profi Mozart nach 365 Tagen im Jahr zum Hals raus. Für diesen Preis hätte ich mir wesentlich mehr erwartet als drei Geiger, einen Cellisten und eine Pianistin (die auch nur ein Stück spielen durfte). Nach der Pause gab es dann nochmal Mozart. Dafür aber die kleine Nachtmusik. Danach zwei Stücke von Johann Strauß. Auch hier hatte man zielsicher zwei unattraktive Stücke ausgewählt. (Wie schafft man sowas??) Irgendwer musste sich hier scheinbar beweisen. Wir haben geklatscht, weil alle geklatscht haben. Am Ende noch schnell - der Gewohnheit wegen - eine Zugabe. Die hat das ganze Konzert noch gerettet (Por una Cabeza von Gardel). Man hatte das Gefühl, dass die Musiker so schnell wie möglich alles hinter sich haben wollten.

Fazit: Uninspirierte Touristen-Tretmühle, die zwar technisch überzeugen konnte, aber leider komplett am Publikum vorbei inszeniert wurde. Wesentlich zu teuer für das gebotene Programm. Zwei Punkte wegen...
