Mio Gelato — Attraction in Ontario

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mío Gelato in Kingston, Ontario, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming environment. The staff made me feel right at home and ensured that everyone who entered felt the same. It truly is a safe place where everyone is welcome. The customer service at Mío Gelato is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations. They go above and beyond to make sure that every customer has a pleasant experience. One of the highlights of my visit was tasting their mint and cookies gelato. It was absolutely delicious! The mint flavor was refreshing and vibrant, and the chunks of cookies added a delightful crunch. I also tried their dulce de leche gelato, and it was a true delight. The creamy caramel flavor was rich and indulgent, leaving me wanting more. In addition to the incredible flavors, I was impressed by the fast service at Mío Gelato. Despite the busy atmosphere, my order was prepared quickly, allowing me to enjoy my gelato without any unnecessary waiting. Overall, I highly recommend Mío Gelato. It was very busy when we came here, and we can see why. The gelato was very refreshing and there were many unique flavours. We had the opportunity to sample four flavours and we loved all of them. We were only planning on purchasing two flavours of the gelato, but we ended up getting three flavours because they were all very good.

The Thai tea and earl grey were our favourites, as it tasted exactly like the tea. The tea flavours were very strong, and the gelato was very creamy which we enjoyed. We also got the strawberry gelato, which had a very sweet and strong strawberry flavour. Overall, the gelato itself was very tasty and well made, and each flavour was strong and distinct from one another.

Came back recently, feel like the quality of gelato isn’t as great as before. It’s not as creamy and the flavours are definitely not as deep as in the past. All of the flavours are not very distinct and just taste overly sweet. The matcha for example, just tasted very sweet with no hint of matcha flavour. Would...

Mio Gelato has apparently been around since 2010, but I didn’t even notice it last time I went to the ice cream parlour next door! It is now very popular especially on summer days with lineups inside. As a local gelato shop, they offer a variety of fresh gelato flavours and even allow you to taste a sample if interested.

Our small cup came with two decent sized scoops. The raspberry lemonade was colourful pink and tasted equally refreshing as the flavour name suggested. The dulce de leche was a creamy affair that resembled evaporated milk in flavour; it was nothing to write home about. Interestingly, they offer gummy worms in paper bags to satisfy your sweet cravings.

Service was fast paced but friendly, and lines moved quickly. Some families hung around outside at the front benches to enjoy their gelato. We chose to take ours to go while we strolled through downtown Kingston. The gelato seemed to maintain form well enough to not melt quickly...
