King's Casino Prague — Attraction in Prague

This casino sucks. Like, impressively bad. It’s the kind of place you walk into and instantly regret every decision that led you there. Nothing looks like the pictures online—unless the pictures were taken in 2006 and Photoshopped by someone legally blind. It’s basically a catfish casino.

The pit bosses? Miserable. Every single one of them looked like they lost a bet and had to work there for life. One bald guy in particular looked like he just finalized his third divorce, found out his dog ran away, and was actively contemplating walking into traffic. Walking around with that “don’t talk to me” energy like he owns the place—bro, you manage a sad blackjack pit, not a kingdom.

Speaking of blackjack, shoutout to the Asian guy at the table—legend. Coolest guy in the whole joint. Carried the table's vibes on his back while the rest of us were trying to figure out if we were in an actual casino or an abandoned train station with slot machines.

Now let’s talk about the guy who laughed when I asked what the minimum bet was. First of all, calm down, Gordon Gekko—it was a normal question, not a stand-up routine. Sorry I didn't memorize your casino’s betting structure before walking in. Also, they proudly claim to have the biggest blackjack room in Europe—which is absolutely hilarious. My hotel bathroom had more square footage. Maybe they meant “biggest disappointment,” in which case, sure, I believe them. Whole place smelled like stale smoke and crushed dreams. I'd rather play poker in a back alley behind a kebab shop.

I participated in the PLO tournament at King's Prague casino with a €20,000 guarantee. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met, and the experience left me very disappointed.

After purchasing a ticket worth €1000, we were informed that the tournament was canceled due to a lack of players. According to the local floor, the tournament was canceled because only eight players had registered instead of the required ten. One of the players informed us that two more players were on their way, and the casino was likely aware of them, as their names were known. However, the suggestion to delay the start of the tournament was rejected by the casino. Personally, I rate this approach negatively. It seems excessive to require ten entries when the guarantee is set for twenty-two entries.

Furthermore, I was unable to find this information on the organizer's website. This situation left me very disappointed and angry, as I had traveled five hours from a neighboring country for this tournament. I was told that I would be refunded the entry fee, but I still lost my time and energy. Moreover, it seems very wrong that the casino published the guaranteed amount for this tournament but did not inform players of the required conditions and participation.

Overall, I would have to express myself very negatively about this tournament, and in the future, I will be careful about participating in a similar event at this casino. I believe that the casino could try to better inform players about the conditions and ensure that similar situations do not recur.

Zúčastnil som sa turnaja PLO v kasíne King's Prague s garanciou 20 000 €. Bohužiaľ, moje očakávania sa nenaplnili a zážitok ma veľmi sklamal. Po zakúpení vstupenky v hodnote 1000 € sme sa stretli s tým, že sa turnaj zruší, pretože nebolo dostatok hráčov. Podľa slov miestneho floora sa turnaj ruší z dôvodu že nebolo pred štartom zaregistrovaných 10 hráčov ale len 8. Jeden z hráčov informoval že dvaja hráči sú na ceste o ktorých Floor pravdepodobne vedel lebo ich mená poznal. Návrh aby turnaj začal neskôr bol zo strany kasína zamietnutý. Osobne hodnotím takýto prístup negatívne. Príde mi prehnané aby bola požiadavka 10 vstupov pri nastavení garancie na 22 vstupov. Zároveň som túto informáciu na internetovej stránke usporiadateľa nenašiel. Táto situácia ma veľmi sklamala a nahnevala, pretože som pre tento turnaj cestoval 5 hodín zo susednej krajiny. Bolo mi povedané, že mi budú vrátené poplatky za vstup, no aj tak som stratil svoj čas a energiu. Okrem toho sa mi zdá veľmi nesprávne, že kasíno zverejnilo garantovanú sumu pre tento turnaj, ale neinformovalo hráčov o podmienkach a potrebnej účasti. Celkovo by som sa musel vyjadriť k tomuto turnaju veľmi negatívne a v budúcnosti si dám pozor na to, aby som sa zúčastnil podobného podujatia v tomto kasíne. Myslím si, že by sa kasíno mohlo snažiť lepšie informovať hráčov o podmienkach a zabezpečiť, aby sa podobné situácie...

Plus : clean , nice place ( inside the Hilton hotel ) , and free drinks for the players , dealer are fast ( sometime more than they should , a few mistakes were made )

Cons : everyone working there look like they have the worst life , I know it can be a hard job but that ain't an excuse ,closed face , almost despicable for some of them , same for the floor manager. Also some client are allowed to smoke inside ( the one who bring a lot on the table ) , I personally don't really care , but it's crazily unprofessional and unpleasant for people who don't smoke.

Too bad , I came here for a good time not to win money ( if you do you should stop going to casino) and the experience was kind of ruined by the staff's attitude.
