A MUST visit! This is an absolutely magical place where you can see all of Cairo. Absolutely wonderful. The tickets are expensive though and could get really pricey if you have a DSLR or a mirrorless camera. But Cell phones are of course free of charge.
The ticket is 200 EGP, and they convince you to get another ticket for 100 EGP that would get you there faster and it would go towards drinks from the coffee shop. Do not under any circumstance buy the 10 EGP telescope access, it is not worth it as they are old and not working properly (also not sanitized)
They offer services which we keep refusing, one of them was photography, but when I looked at the photography portfolio of photographer Yahiya I thought they were promising and asked him to take pictures of me and my husband. The pictures were 50 EGP per picture and an additional 10EGP for a digital copy. We collected them at the end of our visit and they were really phenomenal. As a professional photographer, I can attest to the quality of these pictures and nice edits. Beware that they print their logo on the pictures which is an absolute shame given the fact that we paid for them, but we have the originals (which were shot in JPEG not RAW) and I can work with these although it is not really great since they were not RAW.
I am taking a star off for the coffee service, we waited for 20 minutes and no waiter came to see us. We then ordered some pastries to go and that was slow too.
Another star off because of the crowding in elevator (especially during COVID)- They take about 8 people in the elevator, really small space you are brushing up against everyone else. We were a company of three and with the elevator person it was 4 and that should have been enough to take us up but they had to wait until the elevator was full with three additional people on the way up and 4 additional people on the way down. This was uncomfortable.
Not everyone in the elevator was wearing a mask although they were asked to wear one. I would really ask management to consider their elevator policy during COVID and the recent Omicron surge. Or to ask people to provide proof of vaccination before they go up to...

Sky Café, perched on the 62nd floor of the iconic Cairo Tower, offers patrons a unique dining experience with panoramic views of the city.
Ambiance and View: The café provides a serene atmosphere complemented by breathtaking vistas of Cairo's skyline, making it an ideal spot for both tourists and locals seeking a memorable outing.
Service: While the customer service is satisfactory, there is room for improvement to enhance the overall dining experience.
Express Ticket and Voucher: Opting for the express ticket at 600 EGP grants expedited access to the tower and includes a 250 EGP voucher redeemable at Sky Café. This voucher is sufficient to cover various menu items, offering patrons a cost-effective dining option. It's noteworthy that the 250 EGP voucher is not applicable at the revolving restaurant, which often has limited seating and higher prices.
Menu Selections: During my visit, I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad and a cappuccino. The salad was acceptable, though not exceptional, while the cappuccino was enjoyable.
Additional Insights: The express ticket allows for an extended stay at the café, providing ample time to savor the views and ambiance. In contrast, access to the Panorama Balcony and the revolving restaurant is limited to approximately five minutes, with the latter often requiring a wait due to high demand.
Recommendation: For those seeking a pleasant dining experience with stunning city views, Sky Café is a commendable choice. To maximize the experience, consider visiting during off-peak hours to avoid potential crowds and ensure a more relaxed atmosphere.
Note: Prices and policies are subject to change; it's advisable to verify current details before...
Read moreCairo Tower, more like Scam Tower. We came to the place, the guy working at the ticket office told us it was over-crowded and that we need to buy an Express ticket to pass the que. We knew that it was another Egyptian scam, we knew that fast ticket or normal ticket are the same thing, but we still decided to buy the express ticket to see the scam experience since it was super "busy". We came to the que, there were many people waiting, but we couldn't skip the line because all the people bought the same express ticket, the line for normal ticket was empty. Mr.Security officer however decided to use his corruption talents and bring his uncle and son in-law over the lines to enter the tower over the people who were waiting.
After about 30 minutes, we enter the elevator and go on top of the tower, where we saw this amazing view of Cairo, it was stunning. Afterwards, we went downstairs to this "busy" restaurant like the ticket guy was saying, like Gordon Ramsey owns it himself, only to find 2 people siting there.
We were sitting next to the big glass window but unfortunately we couldn't see anything from how dirty the window is and full of mold. We ordered espresso, cake and ice-tea that is literally tea with cold water and some ice, imagine? Everything was a disaster, inside the tower the interior is outdated, like it was built in 1880. Anyway, we had this voucher that gave us free consumation, but you see, Egyptian bartenders came dancing next to our table asking for tips, they said free food but tip us for putting ice with water and tea 👍
Please avoid this place if you are a tourist, it's not worth it at all, you can have a better time elsewhere, just...
