AVOID !!! As a first time customer (!) I ordered online from these guys because they had a couple variant covers I couldn’t find elsewhere. The comics were priced as new, paid 60€, which I’m happy to pay as long as i get to add NEW, pristine books to my collection.
I received a beat up box not suitable for the comics (why no adequate packing for international shipping like a Gemini Mailer?? clueless…), no sleeves, no boards, and DOLLAR BIN quality comics. They ALL came in poor conditions with the same kind of damage to the spine, they all look like warehouse rejects no exception. The covers lost all their gloss, one of them even had water stain on all bottom pages (last picture). Talking about issues released all no more than a year ago, nothing from 1948.
ZERO QUALITY CONTROL, ZERO CARE whatsoever. Serious collectors stay away: 10 comics, each one with the same damage, better or worse. Check the pictures, this things had been literally stacked all in a pile in some dollar bin shelf in their shop, not kidding. Then some clerk picked them up, just put them in that box and sent them my way. As such, these were more worth like 1€ each to be honest, like the dollar bin where they belong, plus the 15€ shipping. Nowhere close to what I paid, and no one of Album Comics seemed to care apparently when sending this over.
When asking at least 50% refund due to receiving comics in USED CONDITIONS, they told me I had to send back the comics for a full refund, but leaving me to pay the return shipping cost for myself…..
I have ordered over 300 new vo comics from different sellers over the last three months, and Album Comics has delivered the worst ones I have ever seen. You’re better off buying from competitors more serious about their job, look around cause there’s plenty.
And for the guys of Album Comics reading this… Don’t blame this on the angry, impolite customer. This was 100% all your doing. You either sell good quality comics, pack them well for long shipping, then you’re a professional, simple as that. Otherwise you’re just a bad joke. Keep selling mangas only, they’re a more manageable...

Two days later the same guy came by our hotel just to drop off the d-tax and it worked out so nicely. You should go there to fulfill your comic book cravings, and who knows you may even find something from years ago that you never...
Read moreVery SAD experience. Excited to visit this iconic store from our hotel at Port de Cignacort to St Germaine Boulevard on the 4th of July, we were hugely Disappointed. The website showed the shop as OPEN. However on reaching there we were shown Closed sign by the staff inside the shop due to some Story Session going on there. We repeatedly requested them to at least talk to us and hopefully understand that we needed to rush due to our flight time and will miss their 12 noon opening post the ongoing session. But they straight away refused. It did not matter to them that there were young kids with us who wanted to buy Star Wars mementoes and would have gladly tiptoed without disturbing anyone. I really wish they’d been a bit understanding. Store might be good but the Staff hugely disappointed us today. Maybe some other store in our next...
