The hotel is in a prime location, a stone throw away from Eiffel Tower. It is very accessible from CDG airport, Le bus Direct last stop (Tour Eiffel) is just around the corner (return tickets are EU30 from T2). We have booked a privilege room with the tower view, free mini fridge and breakfast included. The view of the rower is good, as we were on 11th and 10th floors. Vuews from the lower parts of the tower are obscured by Pullman hotel. The rooms are on the small side, our was upgraded free to a junior suite after first night due to some fire detector issue. As for the Accor Club membership, I thought we will get a free upgrade offered at the chec-in, but this wasn't mentioned at all. After the second night (first in the suite) the fridge/coffee was not restocked, but this was quickly sorted by the reception. Safe is free of charge and set on a code of your choice. Coffe machine provided and refills stocked up daily, although not enough of milk (just two tiny pots) and cups are paper. I would expect better effort! The suite had same coffee machine as in the restaurant, so we helped ourselves as unfortunately the room service left wrong types of pods. Beds are very comfortable, there are also two different pillows (soft and hard) so you can choose what suits you best. Wardrobe space is good for the lenght of our stay and probably for longer journeys as well. The wardrobe space was the same in a room and the suite, so not too sure how this would work if more people travelling. What is missing is drawer units by the beds, as there are only tables provided. Also the number of electrical sockets is insufficient, considering most people travel with smart phones, tablets, cameras, etc. Something to look to improve. There were also Bose Soundlik stations in both room and suite, but we didn't use these. For tourist, I suppose it is not necessity as we have spent most of the days out. Aircon seems to be of low efficiency (although quiet on the plus side), or at least this was our experience (though it was very hot outside). Bathrooms and toilest are separate (both room and suite) and fitted with generous shower cabins. In the suite we also had Skinjay essential oils capsules provided. Breakfast is of good selection and value (continental). Choice of scrambled/boiled eggs, fried bacon/sausage, pancakes, cold ham, cheese, fruits, yoghurt, cereals, milk, orange/apple juice, coffe, teas, pastries, etc. Last day we were leaving before they serve breakfast and we asked for a breakfast box. This was the biggest downfall of the stay, The box contained 1 x Kellogs Special K bar, 1 x can of orange juice, 1 x chocolate cake, 1 x apple compote pot. This is far too poor of a breakfst box, considering they sell sandwiches at reception. Also no coffee offered! At the same cost as restaurant breakfast I found it unacceptable. There is a gym at the 12th floor. There is one treadmill (broken during our stay), two cycles and 3 other weight lift machines. Towels are provided, along with water and ice dispensers as well as hygienic wipes. Just outside of the hotel is a small sports complex, where you can run on an outdoor track for free. There are also basketball and football areas on the same grounds. Not sure what other anmenities they offer as didn't ask or check.

As a travel agent I am not impressed whatsoever. I have stayed in many many hotels all over the world and this is one of the worst. Upon arriving in our room first thing I noticed is the toilet which is right next to the entry door, " smelled like urine". The bathroom doors are all chipped up an in serious need of repair and needs a complete remodel. Mini bar was included which was nice and had a nepresso maker which is great. Some of the days they failed to restock it and was annoying when your trying to have your coffee in the morning. Decent view of the tower but not full view. The surrounding area outside when the windows are open are very noisy with very very loud banging through out the day which is quite annoying and I still cant figure out what that was each day. My last comment is the biggest reason for the 1 star and that is on the last day before check out, my wife and I went to get breakfast and upon returning my room key didnt work and I thought it was just malfunctioning. So we go down and come to find out they locked us out of our room because we didnt pay yet and didnt have a card on file, which we put on file when we booked the room in the first place. Apparently the person checking us in didnt authorize or ask for a card to put on file and so because of his screw up we get locked out and forced to pay in order to get back in our room as if we were going just leave without paying. They didnt think to call us, email us or come to our room during our 4 day stay to get a card on file, NO they simply lock us out so we are forced to pay right then and there. I will never stay in a Mercure hotel again and will not recommend this hotel to any of my future clients...

Where do I start…. Been wanting to write this review a whole year now but I wanted my review to do justice to this hotel. On my recently trip to Paris with my wife for our 10th Wedding Anniversary we stay at this hotel and we didn’t regret one part of our stay wait yes we did we regretted when we had to leave 😏 . Yes Paris and this hotel was that good that we won’t have mind relocating there. Ok have 1 point for person looking at this hotel *- *** PLEASE DON’T TAKE THE BAD REVIEWS OF THIS HOTEL SERIOUS*** when we was looking at hotel we came across a few bad reviews and it had me concern but I experience nothing of sort at this hotel what some those bad reviews was saying . The staff from the very first night of our checking was friendly and helpful , the bellman (Bruno) was a age-able man but he was to best. Breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast, would recommend trying it at least once on a day where u looking to take it slow in Paris. Hotel clean and you felt safe . Our view of the Eiffel Tower was great . It’s just 3 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and 3 mins walk to the train stations . The price of the hotels you pay for why u get, you stay right next to the major attraction in Paris (Eiffel Tower) so I think is reasonable price . So I would recommend this hotel to any one would visiting Paris for the first time and want to stay right to the Eiffel Tower ( book early and request an Eiffel Tower view room early) .

'Ello chaps! Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel is located just steps from Eiffel Tower, making it easily accessible to some of Paris' most famous attractions. We had a late check in, but staff was ready for our arrival, friendly, and always helpful in answering tourist questions. The hotel itself is pretty standard by European standards - mean you can get two full beds together as a large bed, or separated in the room. By European standards the rooms are of fair size, and were clean and comfortable. Despite it's proximity to Eiffel Tower, don't expect every room to have a room of the Eiffel Tower. But, that's ok. TIP: There are multiple train stations located near the hotel, which one you use depends on where it is you're coming or going. We used RER B train from Charles De Gaulle Airport, which dropped us off at Bir Hakeim station. At this point, you'll likely wrap around the corner, past the Australian Embassy, and down the road - coming into the lobby from the back side. I bring this up because out of quick habit, the next morning we went out the same way to get to Eiffel Tower --- only to later learn that had we gone through a separate front entrance of the hotel - we would have cut our walk to the Eiffel Tower in half. OVERALL: I give Mercure Hotel FOUR Cheers out of Five. It's a great value hotel with clean rooms, friendly service, and an excellent location.

We stayed in a standard room and it was a fairly mediocre experience. The positive aspects are the location - it is extremely close to the Eiffel Tower, which made navigating around the city extremely easy. Aside from location though, our room left a lot to be desired. Only the rooms on the east side of the building will have a nice view of the Eiffel Tower. The rooms on the west side have a pretty ugly view of the parking lot and the back alleyways, which is what we had. We paid for the location, not the view though, so this wasn’t a huge deal for us, just something to be aware of if you’re planning to stay. We also weren’t too impressed with the washroom setup. The washroom is split between two doors, one which contains the toilet and one which contained the sink and shower, both of which came off the entry hallway. Not a big deal for us, but one of the things we really disliked was the smell in the room with the toilet. It smelled like an outhouse. I’m not sure if this is because they kept the cleaning brush in the room with the toilet or what but it smelled terrible. I think we may have gotten somewhat unlucky with our room. It was fairly small, which was to be expected, but the location was good and the staff at the front desk were very helpful, so I would consider staying here again.

For a honeymooning couple eager for rooms with a view of the Eiffel Tower, it's hard to mark this place lower than four stars once you see the view of the Iron Lady. That said, the rooms are very small and modest - closer to Ibis level. They're at their best when you're already in bed and the Eiffel Tower hourly light show begins! That's not a bad thing, but it means you're paying a premium to see the tower! Staff were very helpful though, keeping cheese that we'd bought at the markets in their fridge for us. Housekeeping kept things tidy, and kindly decked out our bed with Roses and towel swans, and some lovely complimentary chocolate. The gym/fitness room is very basic, and the elliptical walker was broken. Few exercise bikes, however, boast views of the Eiffel Tower (and the Pullman, an Accor sister hotel of the Mercure, that slightly obscures the base - clearly that's the hotel for uninterrupted views, but you'll need an uninterrupted budget too!). The location is, unsurprisingly, very close to the Eiffel Tower, which is also ideal for two of the regular Seine river cruise departure points (we took the Bateau Parisiennes). The metro is also easy to take to other locations, though we did splash for an Uber when going to the Sorbonne area for the Latin Paradis cabaret.
